sorry to disappoint you, rear camera for iPad 2 is less than 1 megapixel and front is VGA. And the chips are not 1GHz, they are 894 MHz each.

Don't want to seem a know-it-all, but:

1. SD Card would expand storage memory, which is not RAM.

2. Flash is implemented with Dual LED, not LCD.

Anyway, great review imo, and if you could do a HoneyComb review that'd be great!

I have played with it 2 days in a row now at Verizon.

I like it but I don't like the price.

If it was $500, my brother and I would both buy one immediately.

Interesting sidenote, both days I went in, absolutely no one was looking at it or showed any interest in it, even though the store was full.

I thought that was strange.

@oli3659 Companies, like Microsoft, have been making tablets for years and years. It's just that the new multi-touch technology made the tablet format far more practical, and cheaper, as demonstrated by the phone market. So, Apple didn't create the first tablet; they created the first tablet that was actually practical and priced for many consumers. You have to give credit to Apple for taking a risk by moving in to the tablet market, but they didn't invent the tablet, no matter how look at it.

@oli3659 It's the same story for phones. There were touchscreen phones out years before the iPhone. Touch technology has been around for a very long time. Multi-touch technology is what made touchscreen devices practical. Microsoft was developing the MS Surface, which uses advanced multi-touch technology, around the same time Apple was developing the iPhone. The Surface is actually arguably more advanced. Apple didn't invent multi-touch technology.

There are definitely things that Apple does that other software and hardware companies try to emulate, i.e. the new line of HP Envy Laptops with their unibody aluminum construction. But Apple emulates other software and hardware companies as well, but Apple is just really good at marketing their products as "revolutionary" and "game changing". Sometimes it's true, but a lot of the time it's just marketing BS. All companies copy from one another. It's actually a good thing.
