  • Once again, much respect for this great discussion. Personally, I'm a devout Muslim (arab descent, born / grew up in Canada). I've always identified with African American culture (especially real hip hop), particularly when Muslims (Mos Def, etc) or decent people produce it (KRS One). We need to take away that "ethnic" part of practicing Islam. Great points from 3:00 to 4:00 on this.
