  • Even 18+ years on, I still love this sketch. -- BTW: The Vacant Lot lasted all of 6 episodes, and the Kids in the Hall made it only 5 years... Yet SNL is still going after *37 boring years*. Lesson: Americans don't appreciate quality, they find comfort in mediocrity. It's a nation of "C-" students. ...and yes, I'm an American. Born and raised on the west coast. ;)

  • When I am sad...I always watch this and say "Well I could be this guy..."

  • i still get this stuck in my head.

  • If you sleep on your arms for 18 hours, are your arms totally dead?

  • I've been looking for this for a long time. I'm so glad I finally found it. Thanks bunches for the upload. :-D

  • Dude, this is one of my favorite comedy shows of the past! I wish I could find all of these episodes somewhere! Thanks for posting this!

  • Funny -- saw this sketch, once, 17 years ago, but could still hear the song in my head even now. Happy to see I wasn't the ONLY person who liked Vacant Lot, but sure seemed like it.

  • Lulz.

  • Soooooooo good. I wish the Jesus sketches were online....Jesus running across the pool to win the swim meet was genius.

  • I never thought I'd see this again.

  • Good1.

    peace, lardo.

  • Thanks for posting this.

I think of this song to this day anytime ANY part of my body falls asleep.

  • best. song. EVER.

  • Indeed! The Vacant Lot was and is brilliant! Problem is it is too good, too intelligent, and too demented. American networks are just as bad at showing poor quality shows like Desperate Housewives and American Idol. I love the music of Barnes & Barnes (Art & Artie Barnes), but as good as they are, they will likely never be popular either. The general pulic has no taste for talent or art. They are too busy listening to no-talents like like 'Lady Gaga' or the 'Black Eye Peas'.

  • @skinnyblinddude That's amazing. I thought "elitist hipster douchebag" was just a stereotype played for laughs. Apparently it really exists.

  • i cant believe that you have this! I was just telling a friend about this song because something similar happened to me and i face planted into the wall reaching for clothes...ya...i failed haha

  • Win.

  • I can't believe that this show only ran for six episodes, CBC executives are as dumb as they come, this show had so much potential, yet they would advertise and play shows that had no comedic value like This Hr Has 22 Min, and Royal Canadian Air Farce. Having Lorne Micheals on the credits alone spelled hit, I know it wont happen but I would to see these guys get back together and try the show again, espiecally with the crap on cbc now, at least back than they had the KITH.

  • Wow this was back in the day when Comedy Central used to put out funny shows instead of the painfully awkward, humiliating and unfunny shit that permeates the channel.

  • i couldn't stop singing this at work today. are they lampooning rem?

  • I started watching this show in Comedy Central Withing just one episode It became my favorite show It's so hilarious and weird A lot like Kids In The Hall or Monty Python, or a show that now on HBO called Little Britain USA. None of these shows are from the USA. Which mean Americans are really uptight lol

  • I've had times where my limbs are completely asleep, and I can't do shit.

  • Dude with the glasses was in a lot of The Kids in the Hall eps.

  • one of the Kids and one of the Vacant Lot guys are brothers. also, both lorne michaels productions.

  • Oh man, this song went through my head while brushing my teeth this morning and I realized I hadn't heard it in over a decade. <3 to YouTube and hypyke for bringing it back to me.

  • Hahaha, Vito Viscomi is my uncle. It's great to see that others appreciate this show! Classic!

  • so hard to find!! thanks! boy his ass is itchy!!!!!!!!

  • Oh my god, I remember this from when I was a kid.

Now I'm off to look up "Pamper Me".

  • the picture of the girl is the singers wife

  • This was back when Comedy Central was funny and put out funny shows instead of the slew of douchebag comic specials and left wing jargon.

  • Actually, the majority of the programming back then was comic specials. It was virtually all stand up for the first couple of years. Either comic specials or grouped shorts.

  • awesome, thanks for posting. have seen this in years

  • The single best justification for the existence of YouTube, right here. Thanks for uploading!

  • i know the singer

  • Which one is Marc McKinney's brother?

  • This is priceless thank you so much! I sure miss this show. There are two skits I wish I could find, the video about making a music video, I think it's called "More Candles More Smoke" or something like that and the best was The Ballet. These guys sure were talented! Thanks again so much for posting this. with love, abs

  • You're thinking of "This song's gonna make a great video"

  • I LOVED this show in the early 90's. The skit where they argue about the lyrics to Blinded By The Light is classic.

  • lol

  • ah thank god these are here!

  • "He wishes he could kill himself" haha, i've listened to this mp3 for years but never seen the video. Thank you!
