So sad what Derek Hong did was trying to help people who are marginalized and hopefully provide an outlet for them. It might not be interpreted to the way we may hear as most of you did not listen to the full story of journey in helping these people who are gay or lesbian. I guess we are living in the society who are so fast to judge relentlessly. Sad that all the big churches do the talk but don't do the walk! where is FCBC? where is City Harvest and The Rock church?

Though then again, it comes from Leviticus, that dictates behaviours and conducts of priesthood, not common Christians. Unless being a Christian is equals to being ordained. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Buddhism had something similar, about not bearing sexual thoughts, but it only applies to monastic life. Else, it would have been impossible to even procreate, save for test-tubing babies.

haha this is what I call divine retribution. COOS is now treated by the majority of the general public with distrust and distaste for their failed coup of AWARE. I feel so sorry for them. Even their christian brethren from other denominations view them with disgust and they need to distinguish themselves from COOS.

Haha...Christians are really an awfully arrogant lot who place restrictions on this and that, since the Middle Age, where they went round hunting down witches and even persecuting scientists like Galileo and Copernicus. Foolish lot. All using God's name to forward one's own shallow-mindedness.
