Great playing, and just as importantly.. wow that tone. Its exactly the tone I've been aiming for, warm, but clear, still sounds very much like the acoustic tone of of instrument.
If you don't mind me asking, what strings are you using, round or flatwounds? Its the only part of your gear used that hasn't been fully clarified here.
Great playing, keep it up, I hope to be near your level someday.
@denzel500 So I'm already on the right track! 12's or 11's? I just absolutely had to learn this tune today after hearing you play it, it has some interesting changes for sure.
Hey Denz, great stuff......Really enjoyed listening in...If you get a chance check out my site, I have a couple of Jazz giants on; I'll bet you would like hearing play......KEEPON STRUMMIN...DALLAS
Thank you! I love the style of Sadowsky's headstock, tailpiece, and pickguard... And I see that there are no pearlings on the fretboard, so is there any marks (dots) on the side of the neck?
Yes, position markers are on the side of the neck. I remember reading some time ago that Jimmy D'Aquisto - Jim Hall's previous guitar man - thought wood was better than pearl inlays for sound quality.
Sure, any extra part will block the accoustic. Thats why the Sadowsky's have small pickguards to prevent closing the "f hole". A classical guitar has no inlays or even markers...
this makes me want to sell my 68 gibson E.S. 125 and buy a sadowsky.

Beautiful guitar and playing! Sorry but whats the cost of that guitar? and how many years did you study jazz to play like that?

Thanks. I think it still sells for just under $4000US. I've been playing jazz for over 25 years.
