  • very beautiful. Blessed be.

  • She is Christian, but the song implicates trusting in the Higher Will and Divine Timing, and I think it is beautiful no matter what "religious" viewpoint the song is applied to, especially if one puts their trust in the Higher Will.

  • This is not a video but a mini serie about Merlin, Arthur and the woman of Avalon

  • so I mean ,not a music video but parts of the series ;)

  • I saw the full movie a time ago on youtube, but can´t find it anymore. does anybody know how can I find it, if it´s still here uploaded ? thanks

  • Wasn't that the Virgin Mary at the end?

  • lindo lindo lindo!!!muito lindo!!!!

amo esse filme e adorei esse clipe!!!!

  • beautiful

  • Yawn.

  • is this movie recommended?

  • Yes, it is lovely. It's not a masterpiece, but it's really impressive. A completely new view towards the Arthurian legend. Honestly, it was the only version that touched me. It captivates you completely. Though I didn't like the ending very much..

  • I do not agree with you on the ending,it meant a lot, can,t say anymore because I give the ending away;)

But I recommend it too! I have it on dvd and watch it 2 times a year to keep it fresh so to speak ;)

  • Don,t know why this get thumb down bur oke? ;)

  • Uh-huh. It's a miniseries and never came out in theaters--but who knows how popular it would have been then, anyways; film popularity can be based on random things..

  • No, this miniseries was based off of the book by Marion Zimmer-Bradley.

  • Say and think what you want ...

    BUT This song is GREAT

  • i just love this song and movie

  • Good afternoon LA! Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.

  • I don't see this as slashy at all. Morgaine genuinely thinks of Vivianne as her mother.

  • Her songs are Calm and great.Celtic music is great too.

  • Piękna piosenka ;]]]] Chwyta za kawałek duszy....Kiedy sny stają się prawdą....Słuchając tej melodii czuję jak "płynę" ;]]] A może to po prostu moje romantyczne bajanie ;]]]

  • I love it!

  • u know where i can watch this movie? the way u described it makes me wanna watch it. :)

  • I'm quite sure you'll find this movie in any.. ähm.. oh, damn, I dont' know the word in english ^-^

    It's like a library, but just for DVD's :)

I hope this will help you.. don't know where else you could find the movie :/

Well, sry for my bad english again^^

    take care **

  • Somebody put on the hole movie on youtube but I cant find it anymore, so it must be removed but somebody know who put in on youtube?

I didnt add it in my favorites :(

  • i'm with monkey350 why spend time to watch a video you don't like ( doesn't look smart to me at all! )and post a comment that's totally inrellevant to everybody else that's also whatching ?

  • and i agree with the person who agrees with munkey350,

if you are going to watch a video u dont like and post something, at least make sure its relevant

  • Well, aren't you just a smart little ass-bag then... Why would you take the time to watch a video on youtube you didn't enjoy, and take more time to comment to someone of who's opinion you have no interest anyway? Ah...Because you DONT talk 4 languages, you CANT even write one sentence without screwing up all of your punctuation, your spacing, and even your spelling (obvious, not "obvios" you dumbass).

Now go ahead, tell us another one.. What is it 6 languages this time? Nice try, dumbass.

  • Obviously you didn't make it past preschool........

  • i'm with monkey350 why spend time to watch a video you don't like ( doesn't look smart to me at all! )and post a comment that's totally inrellevant to everybody else that's also whatching ?

  • So you believe that and who made god, god's is a creation of people as are all religions in a way, for we can't even imagine what the spiritual world is like.

We will know when we pass away and after it we won't remmember again.

Don't judge hard on people who believe in the power of love.

Or do you think the world and it's people do not need love?

  • What a load of cobblers.

  • i love A.houston like actress... she has a charming, intense face expression

  • I am sick of haveing the error "We're sorry, this video is nolonger available."

  • what's the name of the song mate

  • Perfect Time

  • there are 7 books in this series

the last two where written by Diana Paxton

    after Marion death in 1999

    Avalonia

  • olivarri

Wow I never knew that! I have the very large book with the 4 in one called "The Mists of Avalon" then I have the one that comes after it called " The Forest house".

What are the other ones called

  • Have always thought Enya is exceptional! I really like this gal too. Their voices are Angelical !!! Thoroughly enjoyed this presentation!

    mc

  • Moya is Enya's sister. I worked for Moya, we became friends. She is a great artist and a wonderful, very very nice person!!! She has a very strong, warm presence, her aura radiates love and happiness. I have never met anyone like her before or again! I wish I could be like that!

  • I loved the book too and there is no chance I will let a movie spoil it !!!! ;) ...but this was nice

  • I've got to see this movie. i loved the book

  • i love the book. ive yet to see the movie.

  • The song is a perfect fit for the video.

  • I am in the middle of reading this book.I never knew there was a movie or something.Where can i find it.Still looking for the other 2 books.I have to read 3 times to really understand the storyline but too bad the ending is really sad.

  • well i dont tink the ending is that sad i think the climax of saddness is wen vivane died, the ending of the book was quite a surprise to me, i really expected her to see gwenafar (pardon my spelling) again..... in my opinion pristess of avalon was a sort of better read!

  • sad song and beautiful vid

  • This is such a powerfully magical song from an amazingly inspiring film about the training of a priestess, Morgaine Le Fey and her relationship to King Arthur.....the book was wonderful, I highly recommend it! (by Marion Zimmer Bradley)It unites the Arthurian legends with spiritual concepts and brings them together in the Cauldron of plenty.........whre the two dragons meet and unite in one alchemical union!

This song is called "Perfect Time" by Maire Brennan, who is also sister of Enya. This movie is called "Mists of Avalon".

And to oftaklost I would recommend you to go either to the west coast of Scotland, to Iona, or the northern part of Scotland, and you will experience the energies of Avalon.

  • I just want to be there! Take me there!

  • SLASH?!? (Oh, my...!) I've seen the movie (a mini-series in fact) several times and never imagined something like that... I found the story interesting thou weird. The music is beautiful, I didn't know the singer is Enya's sister.

Adrielle, yo si te entiendo y tambien me gusto esta mini-serie, aunque sobre Morgana no se, me resulta un poco rara esta nueva vision que tu llamas "la autentica", cuando siempre la hemos visto como la bruja mala...

  • I think it was a type of miniseries thing...like the 10th Kingdom and Earthsea

  • thise is beautiful well done

  • This is AWESOME!

    Nice vid. Good combination of

the tack and the movie scenes.

Beautiful salute to the "Western Holy Land"

    AKA Avalon and priestesses.

  • I didn't know this singer. She has a sweet voice as Enya or Loreena Mckennitt and the video is so beautiful! I love this film! Thanks.

  • You know, it is actually Enya's sister who is singing this beautiful song "Perfect Time". Maire Brennan is also called Moya Brennan as an artist. She has done several albums and they are all great. Also, this video is wonderful and perfectly done with this angelic music :).

  • Yes, you have reason. I know Moya Brennan but I didn't know her name is Maire Brennan too. I love her song "Tell Me Now" of King Arthur's soundtrack. Moya and Enya have delightful voices, as sisters they are hahaha Thank you.

  • This song is beautiful. Where is it from?

  • the mists of avalon

  • Um dos melhores vídeos que assisti no Youtube!

  • Excellent video!!!

  • Book is not "even" but it is a masterpiece.Best book about arthurian age I ever read...well it's one of the best fantasy which I read

movie not bad,I watched it and I was just little disappointed :)

  • Very good!

  • i love this movie!!!

  • Great movie! Shit..got it in my DVD collection. Only seen it once several yerars back. Gotta dust it off after seeing this :)

  • Do you take recomendations? My friend LOVES MOA, and would be so happy if you would.

  • I love this film and this song

  • If ye dost not respect nature, thou dost not respect thineself, for it is God's blessed creation

  • So is the video from a film called Mists of Avalon? Never heard of it before so is it new?

  • The movie is about seven years old, the book even older...I believe it was a Mini-Series on Television four or five, possibly seven years ago...

  • Thanks for that - I don't remember it at all - will investigate further, lol!

  • The book is by Marion Zimmer Bradley. She wrote several relating to Avalon. One called the "forests of Albion" or similar and one based on the "mists of avalon". They are good reads. The film is based on the second book mentioned and relates to King Arthur etc. Definetely worth watching.

  • Alatier - thanx for the info - as I hadn't done anything about investigating Avalon it is most welcome. lol

  • I think you chose a wonderful song to portray the mentor/pupil relationship between Morgaine and Vivianne. This song, to me, will now always be linked to the Mists. Thanks for sharing this.

    ME

  • I don't think people are weak because they have a hope for the future...I think there are those who would take advantage of our innermost need to believe, thereby giving religion a bad name...

  • Hope!

  • Religion was not founded to control society, religion was founded to explain the things they couldn't. To bring sense and order to a world that seemed out of control and frightening. It is true that religion is often used and sometimes created to legitimize law or rule, but that's not its essence. That's human nature creeping through. I believe they said it in Farscape: "Religions are lofty ideals, religious followers, however..."

  • read my other comment that is what I believe..

  • I have a feeling the world and what we worship is all about balance and the Goddess of all is alive all around us. She is the Spirit of All That is Holy...

  • You rock Loch =D I didn't mean for that to rhyme, but OH WELL. lol Peace and ROCK ON TO FREE BELIEFS!!

  • Well that makes the story of worshippin the Virgin de Guadelupe so much more powerful. Those who give praise and love to her (sometimes moreso than God or Jesus) almost worship her as the Goddess of Earth. So.... yes?

  • At the end of the movie you see nuns praying to the Virgin Mary. I wonder if they realise they are praying to the Goddess...Just a thought....

  • thats what i was wondering myself....i just didnt bring it up.

  • thank you for answering my question. I do have one more.. Please, If its possable i want to have this video as a download.. i would hate to lose this no matter what!!

    Shyliah1976

  • You would need to contact the person who posted it...I have no answer for that one...

    Good luck though...

  • Shyliah1976... The album is called Perfect Time and the artist is Maire (Moya) Brennan of Clannad...

  • True Christianity and Wicca need not be enemies...What reason is there to be enemies...Tell me...

  • This video is truly wonderfull.

The song and video are indeed a perfect fit.

I love the movie and the book even more. i read it many times now. i will look this one many times to.

    Beautiful video

  • Well done, this is a beautiful video.

  • This video is wonderful. I So loved the movie and this song is a perfect fit. I would have never thought it was a Christian song. This was the first time i had heard the song as well. What is the name of the album so i can look for it?

What a beautiful example of how the old religions and the new can work together.

Is there any way i can download this so i can have it in my archives? I would hate to loose this for any reason.

    Shyliah1976

  • nowhere is it mentioned that religions work together in the Bible.

  • Shyliah1976... The album is called Perfect Time and the artist is Maire (Moya) Brennan of Clannad

  • It is a Christian Song. The Mists of Avalon is a movie about the ending of the Old Religion and the Coming of the New, the transition from the Way of the Wise long ago to Christianity. The way of the wise never really died, and Wicca is an offshoot from it. Nevertheless, the blend of this beautiful Christian Song which I love and this beautiful Arthurian Tale of what once was is incredible. True Christianity and Wicca need not be enemies...

  • look anywhere in the Bible, and see if you can find it where God said it's ok to mix with other religions' ways.

  • And look at texts older than the Bible. Who says that the Bible (which is MUCH later than many world religions) is the way to go? I frankly believe it has just as many fallacies as any other religion.

  • It is true that true Christianity and Wicca need not be enemies but itis difficult to discuss such ideas with a people set on 'my way is the only right way" mentality.

I will ask again if there is any way I can get this video for download. I would hate to lose this for any reason...

    Shyliah1976

  • I agree with you, Loch. I am a Wiccan and proud of it! But I hate that people think Christians and those of my own religion need to fight. There is nothing to argue about ...

  • Mmmm! Loved the dress, and hairstyle (and horse riding too).

Moya Brennan's CD, Two Horizon, is really great too.

  • it´s so great!! I love the book and the film.

it´s the perfect music for rhis video..

  • Absolutely Beautiful. Period.

  • Questa musica mette i brividi!

  • Watching your video was the first time I heard this song. I actually thought "Perfect Time" was a part of the movie, since your video was so in sync. A+

  • harikasın

  • This is a wonderful song..thanks!

  • Does anyone know whether there is a webpage where you can get the lyrics to this song..?

I would be much obliged for any help in this matter...

  • You can find the lyrics on the web-site "la musique de celtique", there ist a page about maire brennan, you must choose the album perfect time, there you get the lyrics

  • YOU MOST SEE THE MOVIE !

It called : The mists of Avalon. If you now need to cry.

You most to se the movie !

    xxx kim

  • oh gods i wish i could see this...i may just ask my mom to rent it.

gawds it's such a beautiful song, i feel the need to cry.

  • Great video - great song!

I have followed the christian-pagan discussion here with interest. I´m not a christian, nor a devoted pagan, but for me, it is quite irrelevant wheter this Brennan song is a christian song or not. It´s a song for anyone who want´s to feel better or learn more about the great mysteries... Whatever they choose to call them!

  • Woah that is just like the painting " Lady Avalon"

  • the one in elfwood?

  • I dunno google it." Lady of Avalon"

  • theres a Ladyo f Avalon on elfwood thats really amazing. i thought that might be what you were looking at

  • Hello busangange!

This video is the best video I ever saw on youtube! I swear, it's magic ;)

The music fits perfectly, I like it when Viviane and Morgaine part the mists and Maire Brennan sings something about wings, that was cool!

So I am your new fan^^

    ElanaLitha

  • Was there not a war in times gone by between Shiites and Sunnis because they wanted to be the dominant religon and were willing to kill each other because of it. i.e.- My religon is better, believe in it or ye shall die.

P.S. I think all religon is a farce concocted by greedy snakes who use it for their own purpose-to screw the working class.

  • Does that include the religion of atheism, eoincon87?

    And I love the song!

  • iorny is the soup of life, dont be the potato.

  • so ironic. a catholic song from the catholic family of the Brennans used as pop-wicca propaganda... :(

  • Yes, doesn't it seem ironic, since you bring it up, that a lovely song about one deity so aptly reflects the sentiments of those of another religion? Clue: it's all about agape (that's "selfless love", by the way).

You know, the lowest form of criticism, absent simple logic, is the belittlement of beliefs that don't conform to yours. Try not casting stones. Isn't that what Jesus would do?

  • you're completely wrong. 'Perfect Time' is a Christian album from Maire (Moya) Brennan who is not denominational, but a Christian. Read her autobiography as I have.

The song is asking the Lord to teach her...nothing to do with wicca!!

  • sorry, my last comment was to hpsleit.

I don't know why reply links are under each comment if that doesn't become clear chronologically.

  • Maz59:"you're completely wrong. 'Perfect Time' is a Christian album from Maire (Moya) Brennan who is not denominational, but a Christian. Read her autobiography as I have." - No, I´m completely right. I´ve also read her biography. I told "her family" is catholic, and it is indeed (including Enya). As to Moya herself, remember she once performed Ave Maria and a tribute to St. Francis. Although she is not a catholic (I didn't say she was), Moya is not protestant either.

  • Maz59: "...nothing to do with wicca!!". That´s EXACTLY what I was trying to tell ;) I´ll comment it later.

    God bless,

  • Whether it was originally meant as a wiccan hymn is irreverent. I can see both angles and the song can easily allude to the Goddess as well as the Christian god. Blessed be.

  • nicely put together, the song really fits the movie.

  • Favorite Song, Favorite Movie...Enough Said!!!

  • Are you asking me what's my job? Well, I've been going to school full time so I don't really have the time for a job. But, after I finish my summer semester, I'm going to apply for a job, at a Bank...then I'll take classes at night, and work during the day...That's why i hate golf, they cut down thousands of trees, so stupid old men can play their pathetic game of golf Lol...

  • I love this song.

  • I agree, for most people today, nature is nothing. They don't think twice before chopping down thousands of trees, killing innocent animals for one's own pleasure, polluting the oceans, the air etc. You see, I believe that one can have respect, honor, and love for nature, but one must worship the one who created it-God.

  • I remember nature, I love it... My job is connected with it... and I must fight to survive... This is world today...

  • Real Christianity says to teach not to force someone. You should read the Bible again, you will find these words there. Anyway, Nature is Good and Good is Nature. But today, for many people, nature is nothing, the most important thing is money and power...

  • :) what you beleive is written and inspired by man.

what i beleive is inspired by God and written by man.

only decalog was written by god. You life is inspired by the natura created by God, and my life is inspired by the word of God!

Love Roma! my sister lives there.

  • now i ask you. have you ever asked God."is there anything you can give me"? you ll never know until you do that, and i promise you that you ll get answers. BTB

  • when jesus was speakin to satan i desert he was just repeating what is written i bible. because no one could beat satan in dialogue exept god father. We can spend whole life in chating and it could be nice but we could never meke each other think diferent because some things could never be explained with words. all we heve to do is to do is written in bible.

  • i dont want to change the way you think, i just would like you to do one thing. dont speak with anyone abaut it... just try to bring joy to your family today. even if nobody understand you... just continue to do this for few days... i will pray for you. Ivan

  • from croatia... satan exist because even angels have free will... and he used it against God. he beleive in God more than anyone, but he dosent want to do what is written in holy bible... Thats the diference between catholic and others... we beleive that it is not only abaut fait.. we have to do good things! just try to do this and you will see that God exist! Amen

  • One more thing, you seem to like movies by Mel Gibson, have you ever seen The Passion of the Christ directed by him?

  • You make some sense, I understand where you are coming from, you worship in your own ways, you don't believe in going to church or belonging to a specific cult, there are many people like that...Ciao!

  • I sometimes wonder that about Satan myself, that's one part of my religion I have some issues about, since God is the all-powerful, why does he let Satan exist? I agree with you about that issue.

  • If I were my father, he would have told you that you were a lost soul, and that you are far from the truth. I feel that one doesn't have the authority to do that, for one day they will be judged.

  • The qoute has some truths, but I still can't accept their being other "gods" when there is so much written about God. I too don't look to convert you...I truly believe in God, from scripture and through personal experiences.

  • Don't be offended, but with if those others are deceivers, you know, there is someone named satan...

  • I do believe there is one true religion, I can't understand how people can worship gods or animals. My good friend is Indian, and I don't and never will understand how they can worship a cow, but I'm not going to stop being her friend b/c she has different religious beliefs. Sure, I'd like to see this passage

  • We can go on and on, but I don't believe you can convince me, and I can't convince you. You hold strong pagan beliefs, just like I hold strong Catholic beliefs.

  • It was written by men who knew God, his apostles and disciples, they knew his personally.

  • I can give you a long list of why animals were created, even sharks and tigers:

Companionship, food, clothing, transportation, sacrifice, to illustrate that "the hand that made us is Divine", to give enjoyment to children, to serve man in a multitude of ways, etc.

  • A Cat Goddess? There is so much evidence about God, and who he is...what about saints, how do you explain some of their encounters with God? Have you heard of Padre Pio, he's popular in Italy, I'm sure you know of him

  • God is revealed through scripture, the bible, revelations. We must have faith and belief that he is God-I think that's something you don't have, or are confused about

  • You say pagans don't believe that, but do you?

  • You can't even call the Vatican or its followers Catholic anymore, they are sort of a new religion

  • I don't believe that Islam is correct in any way, but I applaud the followers for how dedicated they are, when their are people who claim they are Catholic, yet never go to church or say a prayer.

  • Christianity puts man at the center of the universe, because we are here on earth to serve God, that's why he created us.

  • God created nature, therefore it is pure, but he didn't create animals to be equal with man. He created animals as a resource for food, so how can they have souls? Maybe we are talking about different souls than you are, being Catholics...animals are not made in the image of God, like people are.Animals have an important place in God's creation, and in our hearts, but they cannot become part of the Kingdom of Heaven or the family of God like we are!

  • You can still be a Catholic and respect nature. It's a pure religion-before the Vatican had its influence on it. Look at St. Francis, he is the patron saint of animals and nature-and he's a Catholic! God created nature and all of its wonders, so you are right for honoring and appreciating it, but paganism is a "religion" of people long ago, those who didn't know a God existed and created what they worshipped.

  • Catholics forced others to change, because they truly believe that it is the only religion of truth-they are in a way helping those who don't see the truth see it. I am a practicing Catholic, I go to church every Sunday, holy days, confession, etc. and I honestly believe that Catholicism is the only true religion.
