  • reminds me of an episode of Tool Time. Can't help bugt wonder if that's where someone got the idea.

  • I'm the old Geezer, on the far left, playing the Musical Saw. Yep, I braved the moist, damp, air applying the rosined bow to the blade. I have Nate's, signed, original score for the Saw part. He came over to my house to audition some of the scavenged "instruments". I used my own, LOL. Patrick Weldon

  • Well, since this oddly has skyrocketed from a hundred or so to 2400+ views, I guess I could vouch (being one of the players here) that the "boominess" is definitely a combination of the camera and venue.

At the herbst theater, and on our recording, it sounds much more balanced.

  • I saw it performed. A composer spends time walking around the dump looking for objects that have sound potential, creating musical instruments from trash, and writes a symphony for those instruments! I hope they made a recording, it was one of the most amazing things I've heard, and seen, in a long time. Too bad this is just a clip and not the whole thing!

  • It's a cool idea but still doesn't sound good to me... just very noisy ;-)
