These scenes should be from episode 20 when Justin finds out that his parents are getting a divorce and he thinks it´s because he is gay and he has caused them so much trouble, then Brian convinces him that it´s NOT his fault and he couldn´t get them back together even if he would please his parents studying what they want him to study and be a "good" son.

@nooneknowswhoiambutu It is episode 18. Justin was going to go to art school until he found out his parents were getting a divorce. Feeling responsible, he decides to go to Dartmouth to make them happy and hopefully get them back together. In that scene, Brian is showing him the error of his thinking and convinces him to go to art school.
