Hi ther how does this work? what sort of sensor is used? is it from the water level change?

so the water is picking emf up from the water.then you use an rbg led to turn on the color . or an even simplar way to do this is to use a metal plate over each hole then it would work the same way only now you don't need water so it can be moved with out spils.
