Jack & Brian; Your thoughts on a small water cooled diesel gen/ full electric hybrid. You spoke of an "extended" 3 "pot" electric /gas powered vehicle... and Volvos gas /hybrid in wheel C-3 concept. Land Rovers' shown the LRC diesel electric for 2012-12. The future is almost here isn't it? I'd settle for a smarter ecu for my 2010 Insight! Little bugger 'charges' going uphill (taking power from the vehicle) then drops off the other side, not charging as it's fully 'charged'. Go figure.
