@RnBeautyJazzflower Good point. But trust me, most of her personality comes from where she was raised. I had an Asian American friend who's mother was more or less the exact same way as Tina's. It seemed like exactly what you said. No matter what my friend, there was always something he could have done better. And the father was no better. And i think part of that attitude comes from being taught that as a child with her parents.
@RnBeautyJazzflower It's just her culture. In most Vietnamese-American families (or Asian-American families in general) the parents still teach their family values as if they are still in their respected countries. The parents dont want to lose their kids to the American ways of society. And they dont want their kids to dishonor their family, so there is not much wiggle room for the kids to move around in. But the kids mostly because most of them rebel anyway. lol

Hey, if Mrs. Nguyen sounds tough, you should meet my mom: I'd have been in trouble for contradicting her in public... Plus, Tina *was* a bit hyper about the whole thing... Though it's understandable, 'cause Lana's her hero.
no its not...and they said they have no plans on puttinq it on dvd either...its only on vhs...thats wat PBS told my sister because she wanted to know if they ever thought about putting it on DVD
i wish gw would come out on an official dvd or even bluray. also some other pbs shows i grew up on after school like carmen sandiego and square one tv..im sure they would sell well
Its crazy that lady at the end who was the culprit and the person at the beginnin on the typwriter wearin the backwards hat and glasses are the same person LOL.
Danitra told Jamal to go to the hospital WITH HER and yet when the arrive, we see only Jamal there.
