these birds dont know any better, and the instinct isnt completly there, especially the ones that have been bred capptivily for a long time, if you give them a proper environment they are completely happy, i have a whole room for my birds, 8x14, and they are perfectly happy
I used to breed small parrots for a profit. but you get no profit I ended up giving all my birds away for free. you can have one as a pet but please don't breed these guys. and get them from a rescue not a breeder there out to just make money. I have learned my lesson and will not get another bird again.
