you're an idiot O_o use flash 8 or pencil, it takes forever to make a flipbook it takes 5 seconds to make the exact same thing in flash, in pencil you do the same thing as you do with a flip book but you get better results (pencil is for computer and so is flash o_o)

its a different style of animation and its easier to make fluid lines and animation

you can do in flash anything you can do in pencil, and you can do in flash and pencil anythnig you can do in a flipbook

flipbooks tend to take more talent

but theyre completely different and based on what the project is and personal preference

yes it helps but who wants to buy an expensive computer with flash that costs lots when you can do things simple and have a bigger appreciation of your work. like its hard for some people to draw a cube and harder to make it spin on a flip book so people go wow you did that by hand when you do. like mine.

now i have realized it's not what you use but what you are confterable with. I'm not actually confterable using flash (nor flip books, i was for 5 mins XD ).

hey if you practice and be patient with it, you can evolve to something cooler like start with trying to draw a stick man running around the inside of a box and get slightly thin paper and start from the back like on post it notes so you can trace the last frame, then go bigger like my vid 3d flip book which involves simple 3d effects like a spinning cube, then bigger like matrix style flip books. who knows it might start a trend at school or give you lots of attention

Really HELPFUL! :) :D! Thanks Expert Village and Gabel. That angling out and alligator clip info should help anyone who wants to make a flip book... make a Flipbook! So it's best to use index cards, huh? Because of their thickness..
