What an actor's actor very talented man the guys classic. I had the opportunity to meet him and shake his hand after I saw his play Hughie at Longwharf. Very down to earth nice man talked about the craft of acting. You could really see he had a passion for it.

Jeeezzz...what a marvelous man. He's had one hell of a ride in the business. His career spans what...30 years? 35? He's made such great movies. His characters always seems to fit. One of my favorite's is the good'ol tv-film 'To catch a killer'. Wow! What a bastard he plays. But what a great performance! Dennehy is one of the greats. My hat is off.

@12gaAutomatic Check him out in the movie "Best Seller" with james Woods. James plays a mob killer who gets Brian to write his story. Brian is a cop who has written a best selling true crime novel. Brian doesn't know yet that James was involved in the crime and brian wrote about.

quite very possibly one of the greatest actors ever to grace the stage and screen-he is amazing as the uncouth sheriff in first blood(the film that made me such a fan of him)it seems to me that whenever he is cast in any film or even tv work the great brian dennehy gives it is all-as far as i am concerned he is the most amazing actor ever to grace the stage and screen and whatever part he is cast in he makes the watcher of his performance(s)totally believe in him.
