Iceland had a choice. before it chose cod wars and to exclude British fishermen from international waters, then you lost us as friends, so now you have to pay when you lost our money, give back what is ours, and you keep your fish, you wanted it, you can keep it!

Sadly, the Icelandic people elected irresponsible governments that did nothing to prevent Icelandic banks from pursuing extremely risky policies. The Icelandic people greatly benefited from this, since it pushed up the value of the Icelandic currency. While it may be true that ordinary British and Dutch savers were unwise in putting their money in an Icesave account, they could reasonably expect the Icelandic government to honour its bank guarantee. Iceland should pay them back EVERY LAST PENNY.

@clayvessel Iceland shouldn't pay what they didn't do ... if i were an english i would more like have it fair and let the guys pay you who stole your money ....also we are going to pay in taxes and it sucks ass because i didn't come any close to this and now when i have job i have to pay taxes to you guys and also i am only 16
