as u know I've recorded 4 ThyssenKrupp geared traction elevators, 2 at George Pearl Hall at UNM and the latter 2 at the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque Uptown, and they go only 200 FPM. The ones in George Pearl Hall serve 5 floors while the ones in Hilton serve 7 stories.

Yes, that noise is common on many Dover and ThyssenKrupp elevators. In addition, the lantern bell sounds a lot like a piano.

I did for a brief second on the 8th floor, and the Capitol garages don't use windows in the cabs, unlike the UT Austin garages.
