  • Have you gotten a snorkel yet?

  • BuckeyeWoody122 lol they'll do 63mph but I've only done 55 on one

  • were is the battery located at?

  • @mrcreyna13 the battery if behind the backseat, under the rack there's another black protective cover. Its under that. Took me a little while to find it. Hope it helps.

  • Now all Honda need is that front locker :)

  • dude that bike is so nice i only have the regular kind

  • Wish they made a Rancher with IRS with manual shift on the floor boards!!

  • Older models have a clock. My grandfather has one. I can get it to go up to 51 mph. It might go a bit faster, but I don't even want to try it. Lol

  • does it not have a clock didnt see one??

  • @TylerBoren100

I've got a 2010 model with 4x4 and AT and love the thing. I rode the piss out of it this year and haven't had any trouble with it at all. Buy one----you'll love it.....

  • hopefully ill be getting this exact same atv soon, but in a maunal

  • when changing gears try shaking or rocking because it like a moutain bike it get tight

  • Hi what is the ground clearence on this model, in cm/mm?? Is it a strong atv for some work?? Great video

  • Nice quad. My wife and I just bought a 2010 Rancher AT. We love ours!!

  • you like this machine dont you? wanna trade haha.

  • Beautiful!! How has it been?? Any issues with the electric shift??

  • First of all great vid! When it's in ESP do u have to take your thumb off the throttle or not while shifting? And while ESP I heard that if u leave it in 4th gear while slowing down it sifts down to 3rd gear?

  • @96outdoorsman I thought I would have to take my thumb off. Go check out my video 0-50. I do it on both. You can hear how smooth shifting is.

  • Excuse me while I drool!!!

  • very nice vid thanks

  • @QsKquikscopers thank you. It was my first experience with a brand new quad. You can tell in the video.

  • who gave u a rancher as a gift?! im sooooo jealous of u dude. tht is the greatest quad ever

  • AWESOME not many videos at alll on these awesome man keep us upadted!

  • Awesome video man. It is a real help to have ppl on youtube like you

  • does the front tires wear down fast on a four trax?

  • @Deer08Slayer to be honest I have only had this since May so I really wouldn't be able to tell just yet. It better not, I don't want to have to buy new tires before it's even paid off.

  • @2010HondaFourTrax i thought the AT meant automatic transmission and the other video u had u were changing gears.

  • @2010HondaFourTrax o nvm on the other post. i kno its got a switch on it were u can drive manuel or automatic. my friends got a 500 rubicon and it will go through more mud than my polaris 700.

  • @Deer08Slayer I can't wait to do mud ... that sounds so fun.

  • @2010HondaFourTrax they dont wear down i have a recon,foreman,and rancher

  • @muddingmitch412 cool, thx

  • @2010HondaFourTrax anytime im 12 and ive been riding fourwheelers and dirtbikes my whole life. send me a messahe if you need anything

  • @Deer08Slayer no not really

  • Glad to see you like your new machine, have fun with it. They run very well for only being a 420 engine, no cvt . I have an '08 model rancher es, and ride it more than my prairie 700, smoother ride, more agile, faster on the trails. Top speed on mine stock is 56-58mph, with your IRS it will do around 52-54(more weight) My 700 is my worker, but it does out accelerate just about anything, except for the newest can-am big bores. v-twins sure are fun on the straights, enjoy your new machine.

  • honda is the worst last year was there first year of irs and that thing has 26hp what a piece of crap

  • @xllxAndrewxllx I'm not going to get into a he-man penis contest with you here. The 2010 Honda Rancher AT with IRS is a badass machine in it's 420cc class. You are comparing this to what? The 680 Rincon or a 700 Grizzly? For it's "cc" class try to find something that compares. This machine having not only IRS which is smooth as silk, has 5 speed automatic tranny, power steering, electronic shifting, 4x4, reliability and plenty of power. Take 15 minutes and just search and read, it's badass.

  • ill unplug one of my spark plugs in my 2010 renegade800r that makes it a 400cc and it would have 35hp (71 stock 45 hp more than the rancher 9hp more than your piece of shit when running on one cylinder) it had DPS (dynamic power steering assist lowers as speed increases for more feel) it has TTI suspention so instead of the tires travling up and out causing wheel scrub and sometimes loss of traction it travles straight up and down for the smoothest ride of any atv out on the market right now.

  • @xllxAndrewxllx ok, you win, youre the bigger dick, I mean have the bigger one.

  • @xllxAndrewxllx Are you freaking stupid? You do know that you are comparing a RACING QUAD to a UTILITY QUAD! You do know that its pretty clear thats its going to be faster! Plus its lighter. And just to let you know idiot, on the Rancher Power steering models, assist does ALSO lower for more feel also. Why the fuck would anyone compare two different types of ATV'S. Its just stupid. Go back in you little hole with your 800CC wife jackass. Its spoiled little shits like you that make me SICK!

  • @xllxAndrewxllx

Shut the fuck up asshole. It's a great quad. If you don't like it, get fucking lost.

  • THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. REALLY HELPFUL!

  • Like your walk around. I just bought one yesterday. Love it. This makes three for us. All Hondas. Love the fuel injection - can go anywhere!.

  • Yea, they definately go faster then 40mph. I am still breaking mine in and after my first oil change I noticed the power has increased. I do believe that it's something with the computer in the Quad. I'm liking this more and more every month. I personally like the smooooth easy ride, I'm not one for speed (yet)!

  • They do 62kph

  • I am still breaking it in, but the fastest I would say was about 40mph or a little better.

  • whats the fastest speed you had it going?

  • How do you like it? I'm thinking about buying the same model you have, except I want the camouflage. I deer and hog hunt alot. Thanks for posting and the good review...

  • How do you like it and how many miles are on it? I'm thinking about buying one. Either the Rancher AT or another Foreman 500, but definately a Honda...

    Thanks

  • @231MasseyFerguson I love this ATV. As you can see in my other videos that I love to accessorize it. It's barely got 70 hours on it. So its still being broken in. One thing I highly recommend with whatever you choose is the 4 wheel independent suspension. It totally makes the ride so smooth. Also make sure you get the 4x4. Also with my model, its so quiet and they have great hunting attachments.

  • dude is it bad if you go in the water with it .. because i asked the dude at the honda dealer if we can go in d water and he said the warranty will expire ... idk plz help

  • @DRG8A Well there's a lot to consider when you take one of these in the water. To properly submerge your machine there's a bunch of things that need to be sealed. Like the airbox, a few hoses need to be extended and brought up higher then the water line. As far as the warranty, that does sound about right. Even though these Quads can withstand a severe beating, water does damage and they don't want that liability. There's a lot of articles and posts about waterproofing Quads. I will call and ask

  • That new shifting thing looks awsome!!!

  • Nice way of using my account, haha stupid ip save.

  • haha lol when the esp doesnt find a gear shake the bike and press the button contiuously

  • @liajam081 maybe even a couple of kicks will also help do the trick.

  • @SupaSpastic haha yeh

  • Hi father!

  • So the new ranchers will shift all by its self now if you put it in auto. If you put it in auto do you still have all 5 gears that it will shift by it self?

  • @dodgefreak20 Yea, absolutely. It will shift all the way up 5 speeds and all the way back down the 5 gears automatically.

  • Excellent post more videos riding on manual mode please

  • @muertomaniaco I need 3 hands to record while riding in maual. I'll try to get some so you can see/hear how it runs.

  • ya i saw the one of the women and the girl ridin................... im bout to go watch the other one..... but ya wen we get done sellin the forewheelers well have hopefully about $6000 so well try to talk the price down to maybe 6300 maybe 6000 if were lucky...... one of my frends bot an $8000 polaris in november, tlked the price down to $6000 so i mean i could prob. talk this forewheeler down to atleast 6300

  • lol nice. ya were sellin both the forewheelers to get this forewheeler... so worth it..... lol and u didnt try to talk the price down

  • @erko1313 Actually she did talk them down. This model was $7,300 and she got it for like $6,800. Not bad huh? That's what I think, she didn't tell me out right. But I know my ATV on the site is $7,300.

"2010 FourTrax Rancher AT with Power Steering

Red Accessories Selected MSRP $7,299" Quoted from the site.

BTW, check out the new video.

  • whites the same model just 2009 and idk about camo thats just wat ppl say... and u said this forewheeler was a gift.... u got a 7000 gift..... how much did they pay

  • @erko1313 The wife got it for me. She said it's my next 5 years in gifts. For every occasion. Yes, it came to about $7k. It will take some time to pay it off. I had a friend over and we put the winch and plow on it. I have some great video for you to see but for some reason it keeps corrupting as it gets close to completing upload. Grrrrr!!! .. I'll try to make it smaller.

  • lol thanks for all this omfo im like a month away from getting this forewheeler and ive wanted it since like november and my dads finally said yes...... and in that time ur the only good video of this forewheeler.......................... do u think red is cool lookin, or should i go for camo, i hear it comes off after a while but i dnt really care it looks really cool

  • @erko1313 I love the red. I really like the white ones also, I just don't know what year or model those are but for me I go red over camo. How would it come off, is it just painted on? The red isn't painted, it's actually the color of the plastic itself. I have another video I'll put up soon. There's a 3000lb Bad Ass Xtreme Winch being installed and then the mounts for a plow. But you'll get a good look at more of this quad. I will put some photos up somewhere also then post the link.

  • just to let u no... not a good idea with submerging this forewheeler... everybody i no says the electric shift works great until they get it wet... then wen it gets cold that water freezes and screws all the electronics up

  • @erko1313 That's good to know. I don't think I will ever get this in deep water. I enjoy watching the videos of others doing it and it does look fun. But I think I am just going to keep this on on dry land and possibly shallow streams.

You're turning into my new best friend. ;-]

  • I JUST WENT TO GO SEE THIS FOREWHEELER YESTERDAY AND IT SEEMED KIND OF SMALL...... i dnt no , do u think it is

  • @erko1313 Well that depends on how big you are. I'm a pretty big guy at 215lbs and I think this is a perfect size. It's funny because it looks small in my video for some reason. Almost like it was squished when it was converted for YouTube. But the 420cc is plenty powerful for me. Quick also. I will try to make a few more videos and put them up. I am getting a winch setup on this next week plus a 54" snow plow.

But I feel like I can control this ATV. Not too small at all.

  • do u think the power steering is nice

  • @erko1313 Yes definately, it's awesome. I think the independent rear suspension is what makes this. It's so smooth and the steering is just like a car, try to turn the wheel when it's off then again when you turn it on, effortless.

  • wenever it down shifted it sounded like it shifted way to soon or something.... does it bother you

  • @erko1313 It shifts perfectly. I love the way it feels in auto. Sometimes when i'm going too slow it seems like it doesn't d/s in time. It is brand new still. It's got a lot of breaking in to do.

  • Question for others. This is all new to me so any info on the 2010 would be great. My question is about the attachments. Like the fender extensions, the winch ... Can the 2008 or 2009 parts fit this also?
