Obama has remained indifferent on race. Not once has he brought the topic of Race or gave a direct answer to a racial qus. That is the smartest thing to do. The overwhelming US majority voted for Obama. The citizen hate groups that post on websites and call radio shows in favor of issues they don't really understand and prove they don't understand by what they say and post are a very small but loud minority. In a backwards sort of way you are probably right. We are lucky in the sense that we have now have a president who not unlike Carter, will wake up sleepy, lazy Americans from their slumber. Obama's overreaching and outrageous spending that dwarfs even Bush's budgets, will indeed make this country a better place. In the short term we will suffer greatly from his policies, but in the end his policies will and have startled hard working, tax paying Americans to stand up for what is right.
