Probably my favorite Zelda game is a tie between TP, OOT, and MM. OOT for it's groundbreaking innovation and gameplay, MM for it's dark tone, villain, and strong story, and TP for having a good combination of both games. My least favorite: the water temple in TP, wasn't as cryptic as OOT but the boss was annoying -_-
It's funny, I downloaded the original version on the wii virtual console, and I had to use youtube to help me beat it. But when I got the 3ds version, I beat the game with no tips and even beat the Masterquest game without using help of any kind.

I actually don't get why everyone hates water temple. It was really hard, but that's part of the reason that made it an awesome, epic dungeon. Unlike the Twilight Princess dungeons, which were pathetically easy...
I like Navi. Sure, she was annyoing, but I like her. And Gerudo Valley DOES have the best area music, but the Prelude of Light is the best ocarina song... Ocarina of time is awesome.
The water temples on twilight princess were easy. The one where your adult link on ocarina of time I messed up and I don't want to have to restart. Water temples suck.
starfox adventures = if oot and starfox 64 had a baby. beautiful graphics kickass Rare music (come on rare makes the coolest music thats orgasmic to your ears) it was zelda but with starfox characters with zelda style gameplay. a beautiful game in my opinion. some people hate it as a starfox game but I applaud it for taking the risk at being different. it also launched a thousand furrys but what can you do.
Haha! Story being better is debatable. Yeah, the cost was worse, but the story being better, not so much. It was darker, but does it make it better because its darker? Of course not. The story was WAY more engrossed in OOT. Marjora was good, but people are loving it now because everyone loves OOT! That's what I meant!
I think as far as Story goes, I like Majora's mask the most just due to alot of the darker overtones in the story, to this day I still haven't watched the cutscene where you fail to stop the moon from crashing into clock town....
Considering you didn't play OoT when it came out on N64, I'm not surprised you GameFacted it, IT'S FUCKING HARD Y'ALL (unless you've played it so many times, that you know every single little detail)
I remember doing the water dungeon when I was little and not really having trouble with it. Then when I read it was one of the hardest levels ever, I was a tad confused.
the graphics were really nice specially for being as old as it is. first zelda game ive ever played and wasn't impressed, the enemies don't match the other characters, no direction, no explanations

Ocarina of Time is by far my favorite zelda game and my favorite game ever. It would have been awesome to play as that goron and the zora from Majoras Mask after you beat the 3DS version of OoT.
Oh god i remember getting scared in the forest temple. I literally drop the controller and stop playing the game cause of it. But oddly enough when i picked it up again and played the shadow temple, i wasn't scared at all =/.
I still dont understand why EVERYONE hates the Water Temple, I thought it was easy. He is spot on with the abstract clues, it is ridiculous how some puzzles dont even have clues (i actually got angry and attack-rolled the wall)
My least favorite dungeon was that son of a bitch dungeon when you went inside of that whale thing. Levels that take place inside of whales are never fun. Look at Kingdom Hearts, that level sucked too.
My favorite dungeon of all time would have to be the water/zora temple in majora's mask. My least favorite would have to be the fire temple in ocarina of time. But I love the Zelda till the day I die.
How cool would it be to play a Zelda type game, but star as Gannondorf. You haven't faced Link yet, but your "mission" is to take over the realm by defeating the same bosses, but you then use your power to control them once you've defeated them. I would be fine if the game ended with you taking over the realm after running into "young Link" at the castle gate.
So glad someone has complained about the vagueness of the clues in this game, almost completely put me off playing it. It's not about modern games "holding your hand" fanboys, that's just plain unhelpful to casual gamers with lives and you know it.
Majoras Mask is my favorite zelda, and my favorite temple has to be the shadow temple and the sky temple(TW), my least favorite is the water temple(MM)

@cobrakai12345 Actually, I've heard of some of the stuff they are doing with Skyward Sword, such as a new villain and Zelda isn't a princess, and I'm intriguied by that. I want to say what they do with it. GAmeplay sounds good, too. Not saying I wouldn't play TP or OoT (if I get a 3DS), but thanks for the suggesetion. Glad you care so much.

My favorite Zelda game of all time? Must be The Winder Waker. This game was perfect. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, the puzzles. This game is the best Zelda game I've ever played.
As of today, I just finished Spirit Tracks for the DS (My lite broke down, so I had to borrow one) and I couldn't lay it down. Especially the music, but that goes for all Zelda games.
I want a 3DS just to play this. And I want Skyward Sword now. :)

Dude, in the water level, you have it easy. They changed some of the settings for the boots. I have the GameCube version, so I still have to go to the main menu EVERY time I need to unequip/equip the boots...
The Zelda Series are my favorite video games. Ocarina of Time is the best. I hate the water temple. Ganondorf is cool, but he's the best in wind waker. The fight is awesome!
The mountain temple in twilight princess is freaking annoying. there is one room where your stuck with some giant blocks and it takes me Forever to beat it. I've beaten the game three times and can never figure out that puzzle in under an hour. and then you go outside the mansion and randomly you get ice spears thrown at you. i mean WHAT THE CRAP! and then you have to escort the slow, stupid yeti lady and that takes FOREVER. Anyway the water temple in Ocarina is also annoying too. So i get that.
I'm a Playstation kid too. My first Zelda game was Wind Waker, and it's my favorite. The art style for that game was so individual that it doesn't really look like an old game. It still looks great, and WW Ganondorf is by far the greatest rendition of the character. Worst Zelda? Majora's Mask. That game is too freaking scary.
But man, OoT:3DS is the only reason that I'd buy a 3DS (since freaking CAPCOM canceled Megaman Legends 3, those turds), and you enjoying it makes me want to get one NOW.

Best Zelda: Majora's Mask. Does really interesting things with the story. Seperate, fully realized world. One of the only times I've ever seen a Groundhog Day-style time loop done right in a video game. Helping all the people and doing sidequests is rewarding and just makes me feel good.
Worst dungeon: Temple of the Ocean King, from Phantom Hourglass. Not even a water dungeon, oddly enough. No, it's... so much more than that.
OCARINA for fav game. and like you said, water themed temples/dungeons/levels/etc usually suck because ... well, they're boring. however, Twilight Princess' dungeon wasn't too bad.

My least favorite dungeon was that son of a bitch dungeon when you went inside of that whale thing. Levels that take place inside of whales are never fun. Look at Kingdom Hearts, that level sucked too.

My favorite dungeon of all time would have to be the water/zora temple in majora's mask. My least favorite would have to be the fire temple in ocarina of time. But I love the Zelda till the day I die.

How cool would it be to play a Zelda type game, but star as Gannondorf. You haven't faced Link yet, but your "mission" is to take over the realm by defeating the same bosses, but you then use your power to control them once you've defeated them. I would be fine if the game ended with you taking over the realm after running into "young Link" at the castle gate.

@FlyingFocs Dude I am saying this as a fan of Zelda games do not start with skyward sword play Ocarina of time or twilight princess not skyward sword there going to try something new and if it fails old fans will forgive them but for a new person to the game you may be thrown off and never wanna play Zelda again. Play a great Zelda game then go to there new stuff :P

@cobrakai12345 Actually, I've heard of some of the stuff they are doing with Skyward Sword, such as a new villain and Zelda isn't a princess, and I'm intriguied by that. I want to say what they do with it. GAmeplay sounds good, too. Not saying I wouldn't play TP or OoT (if I get a 3DS), but thanks for the suggesetion. Glad you care so much.
Also, even though I haven't played a Zelda game, I still know alot about them. Thanks to AVGN and Screwattack and all that stuff.

My favorite Zelda game of all time? Must be The Winder Waker. This game was perfect. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, the puzzles. This game is the best Zelda game I've ever played.
As of today, I just finished Spirit Tracks for the DS (My lite broke down, so I had to borrow one) and I couldn't lay it down. Especially the music, but that goes for all Zelda games.
I want a 3DS just to play this. And I want Skyward Sword now. :)

My favorite Zelda game would have to be Ocarina of Time. I also really liked Majora's Mask, but it was a direct sequal to OoT and they didn't make the storylines connect at all really. That annoyed me.

Dude, in the water level, you have it easy. They changed some of the settings for the boots. I have the GameCube version, so I still have to go to the main menu EVERY time I need to unequip/equip the boots...

The mountain temple in twilight princess is freaking annoying. there is one room where your stuck with some giant blocks and it takes me Forever to beat it. I've beaten the game three times and can never figure out that puzzle in under an hour. and then you go outside the mansion and randomly you get ice spears thrown at you. i mean WHAT THE CRAP! and then you have to escort the slow, stupid yeti lady and that takes FOREVER. Anyway the water temple in Ocarina is also annoying too. So i get that.

I'm a Playstation kid too. My first Zelda game was Wind Waker, and it's my favorite. The art style for that game was so individual that it doesn't really look like an old game. It still looks great, and WW Ganondorf is by far the greatest rendition of the character. Worst Zelda? Majora's Mask. That game is too freaking scary.
But man, OoT:3DS is the only reason that I'd buy a 3DS (since freaking CAPCOM canceled Megaman Legends 3, those turds), and you enjoying it makes me want to get one NOW.

Best Zelda: Majora's Mask. Does really interesting things with the story. Seperate, fully realized world. One of the only times I've ever seen a Groundhog Day-style time loop done right in a video game. Helping all the people and doing sidequests is rewarding and just makes me feel good.
Worst dungeon: Temple of the Ocean King, from Phantom Hourglass. Not even a water dungeon, oddly enough. No, it's... so much more than that.
