  • Funny guy. Rare

  • This video actually helped me out. That's where my ESP KH-2 battery probably is located.

  • That is a sweet looking guitar ;)

  • batteries r in parrallel

  • @algu11 Whoops, your right.

  • Weird Guitar

  • Unfortunately active pickups are so very overrated and overpriced. A $10 DIY FET preamp built on breadboard with a 2 band tone stack will do more than a hundred dollar EMG ever will.

  • @JonDeth DIY how to vid?

  • @G4ngst4321 Hmmm maybe I should considering I can't sell my designs at the moment but if I become a youtube partner it might make it worth it.

In fact, I just received a nice fat order of transistors today and more to come.

I also just received a couple active kits with bass and treble controls. Thoroughly disappointed! Fine in a bass but turds in a guitar. I'll post something but it won't be my holy grail circuits :p

  • wait a sec at the beggining you supposed to have a vintage trem and at the end you supposed to have a floyd?

  • Radiosnack?? haha good vid by the way should i trust guitar center do that on my 1200 dollar guitar or are they going to screw it up? where do you leave by the way?

  • what's the difference between one battery and two?

  • what is the spring v\claw cable thing for

  • Um i went on the EMG website and it said that EMG 81/85 were solderless

    is that true?

also i have a jackson king v js32t and i would like to change the passive jackson pickups to active EMG 81/85 is it posible.

  • @crash12512 Yes, it is true. If I'm not mistaken, I think that EMG's entire line of active pickups is solderless. And yes, it is possible to switch out your Jackson pickups for EMG's. I'm no guitar expert, but I hoped I helped out some

  • @Spades092 thanks a lot i think i will try to buy some pickups and either get a store to do it or i will thx again

  • GOOD VIDEO

  • whats the difference between active and passive other than the battery?

  • @stonedrocker666 its a tonal thing. actives have a higher output and from what im lead to understand have a more hi fi sound. more of a punch in your face when it comes to distortion. but thats just what i think i know about them

  • I have a video for my bass install of EMG's. Don't know how you got 15 minutes? I put active PU's in all my ESP's and Fender Strats, but not my Tele's. Nice high quality video. I wonder if you think I could have a small business on the side just making the 18 volt upgrades ready to be attached, or even a 12 volt mod to fit in the factory 9 volt battery slot? What do you think about premaking something like that for sale? What do you think something like that would be worth to sell online?

  • Omg you asshole I want this guitar so bad!!

  • this guitar is awesome!

    where can i get one?

  • who painted your guitar it dosent look like the original paint job to me. great vid too man

  • @DanOsborneOriginal The Jackson factory. I'm pretty sure its a Roswell Pro, limited run. The Original route for the trem was also factory.
