Ace Combat 6 Walkthrough - Mission 15: Chandelier (Part 1/3)

Dude nice job, I had trouble with this on normal, now I'm trying it on Ace, any tips, I would be really grateful.

In this mission i use the Su-47 with Unguided bombs, i turned off all the sound except the BGM "chandelier" You can feel the inner peace. My performance is better than usual... i think because of the music.

@sonirahmanproduction This was created over two years ago, skills change. Not to mention that I took this mission slow to demonstrate all its enemy volumes and progression to the viewer.

Go ahead and make a video, then. You speak with the illusion that what you say or do bothers me. I would sate your appetite for an aggressive response to justify your need to cower behind a curtain of anonymity, but I simply don't have time to waste on somebody who won't type with proper grammar.

The Typhoon is a really strong plane, depends on how you use it and how great your skills are.

Also, it has a Lock On system mounted on the helmet. Like in the russian planes.

I notice that you are very good at using the camera stick to keep an eye on the target. I can't use it all that well. I usually only use the stick to take a quick peek at where he is, then face forward again and turn until he's in front of me. I've had AC6 since this past christmas, but I still feel mildly noobish. How do you manage the stick like that?

Im actually playing this mission right now and I just found out that someone from Mobius Squadron is in the fight (unsure if its Mobius 1)

if you really REALLY listen you can hear an allied pilot say "Mobius! back me up, im gonna strike wile descending".

Damn, I'm so irritated by those thrusters you use 98% of the time! If Ace Combat 6 is "fuel-accurate" you would've crashed by only a few minutes into the fight.

Anyhow, I think Namco Bandai should really stop with the "Destroy the superweapon!" kind of endings, they should make the ending of their games more like Ace Combat Zero, a dogfight kind of ending, if you will.

Superweapons aren't really as awesome as an air-to-air battle, a superweapon usually is a sitting duck compared to a plane

As stated previously, Ace Combat is not a simulator, and it certainly isn't fuel efficient. That last time a fuel gauge was in an AC game was Ace Combat 2.

You might want to look at Assault Horizon, then. Namco have been pushing the fact that it won't have any Super Fortresses and whatnot, so you can probably expect a big dogfight with Markov to be the ending battle.

You DO know that full thrust isn't the answer to everything, right? Airbrakes are included in Ace Combat games for SOMETHING, you know, believe me, when I was still a noob in Ace Combat Zero, I always applied full thrust when trying to go behind an enemy's ass, and I'll tell you one thing that did: It pissed me off.

Slowing down allows at least twice the turning efficiency compared to a full-thrust turn.

Physics is awesome...

So, my tip is: It's nice to slow down sometimes.

@Mugenloserhead High G was a new mechanic in Ace Combat 6, and I took advantage of it. I'm fully aware that using only airbrake turns was a necessity in previous iterations. Don't believe me? Then look at my other AC videos.

Ace Combat is not a simulator. If you want proper physics, then try Flight Simulator, Falcon 4.0, LOMAC or even Over-G fighters.

My own tip is: I don't tell you how to wipe your arse, so please don't tell me how to play my own game. My methods work the same as yours.

@BenjaminMarn i believe the way to get it is to get all S rank on Ace difficulty, if not try to get all the medals available in the campaign. personally the CFA-44 SP paint is my favorite on the CFA-44, it resembles the prototype DLC paint but more blue than white, also the Estovakian emblem is red on it.

Nice work man, I had no idea where the missiles were loading from but I can see from your vid where they are located. I really wanted to take it out before it fired at gracemeria. The cluster rockets or whatever your secondary weapons are seem like a good choice for the cooling vents. I was just using my primary rockets. I haven't played a ace combat game for a while and I'm loving every moment. I can't put it down. It's really challenging and well done. The music is awesome as well.

@staffsgtamous Yes, the area is in the North of Strangereal, near the faux Arctic area. It's a glacial area to the west of the Razgriz Straits, but it's not in the Razgriz Straits itself.

Wow. The RCL is actually useful? They more or less sucked hardcore back in 4, 5, and Zero, where they had trouble even in tighter groupings of enemy targets. (Then again, only 4 had really tight groupings of enemy ground targets.)

@hareoli I think Ace Combat 4 had like 21 or so missions. I guess its the capability of how much data can be stored on a disk. For the PS2 that graphics were not as powerful as graphics on the next gen consoles. If they wanted to have more missions for the 360, they may have needed 2 disks

Most simple reason for my selection: The Typhoon has the RCLs. They pacxk so much power and do much more spread damage. They even make easy work of the airborne fortresses.
