@unemployedcomposer I can't blame you. I wouldn't go so far to say plagiarism. As you say, all musicians have an influence, it's natural. Williams is not the exception. Sorry if I sounded hard! :)
@FilippoMedas Yes. Williams is a good musician, but always "sounds like" many things else... Star Wars sounds very much alike "The Planets" by Holst, for instance. But more vivid. :)
"you know you don't eat..." ( response: yes....but i love sitting at the table) those words shocked Monica as she drove closer and closer to the facility where they would disable David, but deep inside, she loved David like her own son and with that, left him in the forest to get a second chance at "living" but Monica knows she will never see David again anytime soon...
This scene is the only one sadder than the ending <:'(
It's not even her fault, she just has to leave him because her husband and other son don't like him. I feel awful watching it, but I love to all the same lol
@BlondeCurlsBlueEyes, I so agree. I nearly cried when i saw this scene in theaters. Mr. Spielberg really knows how to make a great film. This is basically
"Pinnocchio" set in the future. The scene where Monica imprints the protocol is simply a lesson in acting. Haley Joel Osment did a magnificent job in the movie. The music is excellent as always, composed by the Master John Williams, and the theme son "For Always" by Lara Fabian is nothing short of tear-inducing.
Steven Speilberg is my all time favorite director. He is the biggest reason why I want to go into filmaking and John Williams! holy crap! pretty much every single piece of music he's written is awesome
I cried during this scene in the movie. very sad & heartwrenching. Steven Spielberg does it again. Another epic from the director of "JAWS," the "Indiana Jones" movies, "Jurassic Park 1 & 2" & the
gripping Holocaust drama "Schindler's List," among many others.
@_@ i had no idea John Williams composes for this movie as well. He's everywhere!!!! (that's a good thing). before i even started listening to movie soundtracks the movies he composed for automatically became my favorite. I didn't even know who he was back then either
Mee too! Its soo sad! But some of my friends think a robot boy is stupid, but I think he really has that human element in the very end! Awesome movie! Im trying to get my teacher to play it for class.
i don't know why but that sound really like the soundtrack of Alice in wonderland made by tim burton..but i know is not...but sound really similar

@unemployedcomposer I couldn't have said it any better. And yes: it is crap to always start the same topic over and over again.

Monica's motive is better explained in the short story. David makes her martinis, not coffee . . .

very under-rated movie. Should have gotten more recognition, AND been rated PG.
