  • I have to give Honda credit here, their owner's manual was pretty blunt about the limitations of satellite radios (XM in their case) in wooded areas. I don't remember any mention of this in XM's cheerfully worded pamphlets, though.

  • should've gotten XM in the early 2000's...and one should expect no signal when it's blocked by trees / foliage temporarily...

  • Sirius wont honor my life time subsciption I purchased 5 years ago. They're just an asshole company

  • @stuart20017 Sounds like the scam where they really mean the "lifetime" of the radio, which falls apart after a year or two. I saw a few accounts of people who complained and got the subscription transferred ("just this one time ..."), but the customer reps acted as if they were doing them a favor. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent their reps out to rob old ladies.

  • That happens when the Antenna Connection (radio to the Antenna) has a break in the line. I have an aftermarket kit and the antenna line is faulty. Only thing I don't like is those car kits are not of best quality and, you can never find parts - I bought a second radio just on the strength of the car cradle breaking and now, this one is.

  • Just google "Sirius billing problems" and you will find out just how fucked up that company is. (Tip: don't ever give them your checking account no.)

  • come on man, it does not suck, that only happens when the antenna gets blocked by something, but you know thats not the way it is usually when driving on the freeway or anywhere
