the cat was obviously excited and silly about the fact that he was up in this amazing space, with a nice "running" space. he is just a kitten... but in frame :33/:34 its obvious that he is getting a rise out of the wind from the fan.
My current cat (2yrs) will sit in the middle of the room quietly & then all of sudden it's like he gets a shock & he looks back, meows real strange & then he is off all over the house! I call it Kitty Olympics! Good for you for putting that rude poster in their place!
xxxxJelloxxxx: it's obviously NOT chasing shadows. Cats do this from time to time. My cat suddenly jets up the stairs and then sprints down them and and then pounces on invisible prey that doesn't exist and then sprints from one wall to another and makes strange sounds. It happens all the time.
First of all, technically speaking, I can't be a "bitch". Second, the fan you see is a good 3-4 feet from the shelf space. With the books there, the cat can't get near the fan! Thank you so much for your kind concern!
Thank you very much, Maynya! We had two other cats that just happened to have "P" names, so when we picked this new one up from being dropped off at our church, we searched the Bible for a "P" name, too. Pelaiah means "God does wonders". That is significant for our family due to events that also happened around that time.
ARGHHH!!! You have a Black Knight Pinball machine!!! I'd kill to have one! (Actually, I WOULD have to kill someone because I don't have the money lol) I love akrobatic and krazy kitties. One of my cats puts her ears back, her eyes bug out, she backs up swinging her head, then PAF! she's off! She doesn't slide on the wood floor anymore - she turns the corner by stepping off the wall.
Thanks, Latikono, glad you enjoyed it! I have three cats, and she's the youngest. Often she gets one of the other two active as they chase her around the house.
Could she have been chasing a bug? My cat used to chase everything (shadows, bugs, drafts of air <like from the vents in the house>). Your cat is cute :-)
Well, that's kinda rude calling me dumb about my own cat! I will let it go though. Pelaiah gets into these really nutty moods where she will run all over the house like that. At that time, it could have been about the ceiling fan shadows, but it's hard to say!
She's a little nut! My wife calls he my shadow. She saw an older cat jump up there to hide out one time, and now Pelaiah goes up there almost every time I'm in my office.
She's a cute happy cat! My cats does that too, alot ^^

The whole vid is so outrageously funny, but the takeoff point at 33 seconds is the best! I love your cat!!

Cats make a lot more sense when you realize that your house is infested with invisible mice.

Hahaha! Thank you for the funny comment, mrschmooshies! That might explain alot. ;)

dude you either have ghosts in your house or it's just the fan the cat is curious about.

Ha ha, cats are so cute. ^.^ Mine does that too. Randomly darting around like a swarm of bees is attacking them.
