Yeah, but unfortunately, it is in suspended animation while it's in those conditions. However, if it can come back to life after all those years, then as long as conditions are suitable for however long, it's life span could be just as long, even if it doesn't go in suspended animation! I think even if you don't include suspended animation, the water bear has the longest life span of all life. Even compared to crops. If in a large tank of water with dirt and air, it could evolve on Mars!

@LEMMlNGSmaster The actual life span of the waterbear, I'm not sure of, but I don't think that suspended animation counts. While in this state, it requires, literally, nothing, so, since it doesn't do anything, its matabolism practically shuts down, which allows it to 'live' so long. The natural life span, I bet, is only a few years. Many animals can outlive a waterbears sleep. Even some species of koi can live to be 200 years old, and that's simply a fish!
