MLK believed in God. Even if you dont believe in God the existance/presence of Moral Absolutes declares that. That is the priciple that MLK was talking about. That is way it is right for all men, black men as well as white men, to live in equality. That is what his appeal was to - and that is why it is accepted.

There can be no doubting it: MLK was one of the greatest protagonists of this modern age. Our short comings, not following on his dream, is our fault and not MLK's.
