  • It's not just a matter of you choosing to take the risk of not wearing a seat belt. Without a seatbelt you are significantly increasing the likelihood of serious injury or death, resulting in major costs to taxpayers and others who pay insurance for medical care and emergency response.

  • Then why stop at seatbelts? Why not ban fast food? The #1 killer in America is heart disease. Why not ticket people for eating bad or not working out? That would save lives and tax payer money. We could also ticket people for playing sports, having sharp objects in the home, not wearing shoes outside, not washing your hands, smoking, drinking, and leaving the home without a helmet. "Those who would sacrifice a little liberty for security deserve neither and will lose both." Benjamin Franklin

  • @Ericjpomeroy

I like the way you think , I would like to get a group of people to protest this law march to the capitol and tells these idiots what they are taking away

  • Seatbelt laws reduce freedom. It is just another way for the government to tell me what to do. I wear a seatbelt every time I get into my car, I did that before these retarded laws. But I should have the right to do something dangerous as long as it only endangers me! Get the government out of my life!
