  • Savage is full of crap just recently he decided he is now a left winger on the war in the middle east because Obama is good at killing terrorists. Clearly this helps the Democrats so he is against it. IF Bush had done the same thing he would be for it, its a testament to how easily manipulated his audience is. And no he could not out debate Matthews, if he dabated Matthews he would not have the Silence button he has on his show, Matthews would rip him inside out.

  • but Michael Savage does NOT heart Chris Matthews

  • That would be Dr.Weiner.

  • @tool404

    ad hominem

  • Stop claiming Philly as your own. Matthews Your a rich liberal dem tv comentator.

  • Left wing, right wing, those are your ghettos buddy. And ambulance chasing "rhymin' man" Jackson and Souldead O'Brien can go fuck themselves. Savage may not be your hero, but he's something to you other than what he is, a carnival barker looking for marks and saps to fatten his coffers. Do you really think this prick gives a shit about the bullshit he ropes you in with? Why isn't "Dr. Savage" living the academic life in some institution of higher learning? MONEY.

  • 'Dr. Savage'. What an asshole. Self worshiping dickhead thinks his bullshit education makes his opinion valuable. Just another loser making money off the idiots who listen to his bilious commentary. Drop dead.

  • @mekongyouwrong LOL, thats the typical liberal "academic" line. Savage throws his education out there to set a standard. He will hang up on you if you call his show and can't put together a coherent sentence. Isn't it funny how every other President had to and did release their school grades but Obama hasn't and is unwilling to do so... If Savage didn't point out his education, then he would have to hear insults about how he is dumb and etc. kind of like yours(loser) but Savage continues to win

  • @ThePelicans44 Yeah, well everyone needs their heroes. That yours is this opportunist low life says it all. The only thing he is 'winning' is money off of saps.

  • @mekongyouwrong Yeah "everyone needs their heroes". LOL. The guy isn't a hero, he's a talk show host that happens to be intelligent but nice try..

  • @ThePelicans44 He appears 'intelligent' to those are not. Like the rest of the inflammatory right wing hate mongers, he's only in it for the money.

  • @mekongyouwrong And like the rest of the so called "tolerant" left wing hate mongers, you make a lot of assumptions and generalizations. Like anyone else that holds a job, the money is a big part of it. Google "Jesse Jackson Soledad O'Brien" just to see how big of a hypocrite "the hate mongers" really are. The left-wingers would call Oprah a "hate monger" if she didn't agree with them.

  • @Grendo147

although english is not my first language i have good comand of it.

however , i have not the slightest idea what you are trying to say...., that is all

if you want to say something , just say it

BTW.,i think tingles is an asshat and MSNBC a station that deliberatly choose the left,.......they are paying the price in the ratings.

i hope this is clear ,......it certainly is a fact

  • @Grendo147

are you trying to say something,...???

  • @Grendo147 ??, are you off your meds, since that makes no sense even as parody.

  • obama took over 50 something days with the oil spill and this cock sucker had noting to say

  • @MrJonny3330 Why didn't all those experts on the Right like Palin or that fascist phony herb Doctor Weiner go plug the leak, as if they were so much smarter?

  • @EsClayWilson thats not the point. matthews was all over bush. remember bush had to wait for the storm to leave before he could get there. but this cock sucking fag matthews with tingles up his leg said nothing

  • this is probably the only clip of Mattews that wasn't wrong....

  • Hey, Chris. Put on your speedo and go swimming.

  • TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT. he isn't praising savage at all. he's being incredulous, like "how the hell is savage aware of this before the white house?"

  • @helicopterscantdance Good point,

  • Savage is fairly straight forward, at least he is open about what he believes. Chris Mathews, Olberman, Rachael Maddows, and the rest of the BSNBC crowd need to admit they're liberals and biased. They need to quit acting like they are objective...they are about as objective as Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.

  • @Brbos06 No, they are not as bad as those people nor do they hide behind faux populism either.

  • I don't know about him "hearting" Michael Savage...

  • people in the media know that Michael Savage isn't even worth mentioning, he's a hateful prick and his listeners are idiots.

  • Dr.Savage would destroy this sissy faggot, Chris Matthew as he always smashes all the liberal vermin... WAY TO GO ! Dr. Savage RULES!

  • @LordFeeblelongdick

    "sissy faggot"

people in the media know that Michael Savage isn't even worth mentioning, he's a hateful prick and his listeners are idiots.

  • @LordFeeblelongdick You sound like a real fascist cretin, or a typical Savage fan.

  • @LordFeeblelongdick only in the ugly minds of the goons who admire that fascist crackpot

  • @LordFeeblelongdick

I used to listen to Savage all the time. Still do from time to time. However, Savage would be smashed by Pat Buchanan, not a liberal.

  • @LordFeeblelongdick I love Savage. But MAtthew agreed with him why would they debate? lol

  • @LordFeeblelongdick I agree! Savage is not the run of the mill thinker.

  • Go Chris Matthews!!!!

  • How easy it is to murder Chris Matthews. When I get my hands on this skinny wimpy whiteboy he's gonna cry so hard.

  • @FlawlessCock Damn... you're so tough threatening Chris Matthews on Youtube. Nice job.

  • @LibertyInProgress I feel even tougher when I get my hands on your supporting kind of Mr. Puffball

  • Suck ass Matthews

  • If you think you are the arbiter of who is "a patriotic American" and who is not, You are a non-thinking ass.

  • Two anti-Americans... the NBC punk and tingly sensation running uphis leg Matthews agreeing with each other. Go figure. The more these two slobbering libs, Couric, Baba Walters, Behar, etc.., hate Michale Savage, is just an indication that all is good on the home front; excellent actually ;-)

  • good glad he likes him

  • Chris Matthews is a biased and prejudiced bastard who hates America.

  • @kahngskp why is it that everyone who disagrees with right-wingers "hates America"?

  • @kahngskp I think you are just another braindead low class moron who gets his tiny mind filled by crackpots like Savage. Wow, how did your feeble mind conclude that he "hates America"?

  • Chris Matthews is a shmuck

  • Chris Matthews is a fucking idiot..

  • hollywood obsessed liberals. its almost like theyre trying to narrate the degeneration of american morals all while smiling and truly thinking that their peers are trustworthy and not power hungry. they think theres a candybar at the end of the rope for them, but instead its a noose. and without morals were going to move backwards until we turn into the same enemy government we promised ourselves we would stay away from during, and (for the intelligent) most of the time after the cold war.

  • Bush was terrible, and Obama is just as bad. Come to show both parties are bunch of washington looters, liars, and theifs.

  • @macdogq I think a LOT of us agree with you- but then come election time, most people get suckered into voting for one party- straight fear mongering really, but it works every time.

WHEN will Americans stop supporting these two crooked parties that are both owned by the banks?

  • @tristramshandy3 Your point is well taken. I believe people are awaken, and American people are voting conservative, rather than republican. We have have come to age where as people have to carefully choose their candidates in special elections, and primaries. Come November, perhaps these new elected officials will start listening.

  • @macdogq this "conservative" voting is a total sham dude- and those people are being used and manipulated. These "conservative" candidates are ALL bought and paid for by big businesses.

If these corporate whores are elected, it would be very foolish to think anything will change.

We need more people like Ralph Nader, people whose central focus is the corruption of our system by corporate influence and money- THAT is the real problem we face today, everything else being secondary.

    Adios.

  • @tristramshandy3 I think people are getting away from candidates who are part of the "establishment", and voting for true conservative. Ralth Nader is only to spoil the democratic votes used by republicans. People today are putting campaign money as did the corporate elites has been doing.

  • @tristramshandy3 I wouldn't want him as president, but it would be nice to see a few more like him up there in DC and less of those establishment types both sides have or the totally right wing backwards teabaggers

  • @macdogq

    you mean Obama is worse.

  • @kingarthurup Now that what is going on today, he is worse.

  • Eat a bag O Dicks, cartonhead.

  • Fox News Channel's Senior White House Correspondent Major Garrett

  • This video was uploaded, by a moron.

  • SAVAGE for PRES!

  • Savage takes on the kit gloved wimps of mainstream media or shall we say entertainment outlets. Remember Chris mathess got all juicy in the croch when Obama spoke, Oh Chris you girlyman.

  • How did PMSMBC 'heart' Savage?

    Can't libs even spell?

  • michael savage is part of the homosexual mafia

  • nbc is a liberal organization that is brainwashing our nation.

  • While we were watching tv, our country fell apart.

    Wake UP people!

  • at least they don't cut your mic if you disagree, they don't invent bogus statistics and make up stories, they don't edit or distort the truth like fox does. Anyway fox isn't a news channel, it's official so I don't know why I'm telling you this.

  • Obama is on fox news w/ Major Garrett interview. Nov 17 2009. Get your facts straight!

  • what is your evidence for that claim? what proof do you have that nbc is liberal?

    thanks.

  • Talk about a closed loop!

  • dude, he may be rude sometimes, but he's right on most of the stuff he says.

  • Fuck MSNBC (BSMBC), Fuck Chris Matthews

  • @staniscanner Mad because Michelle can't keep her mouth shut?

  • watch "bush prescott nazi connection" and you tube and you will know why bush couldn't care about Katrina

stop watching the news its control propaganda

  • whitepad77 (2 days ago)

    michell savage is gay !!!!!fagottttttttttt

    first off

    its Michael not michell

    second off

his wife would totally disagree with your immature rant

    third off

it is probably yourself you are declaring

  • yes because we all know the most homophobic people are never closeted homosexuals. cough cough *ted haggard*Mark Foley*Larry Craig*etc, etc, etc.

And closeted homosexuals never get married to hide their homosexuality. never. it's unheard of.

  • you forgot Michael Savage, here's a quote from one of his books :

"I choose to override my desires for men when they swell in me, waiting out the passions like a storm, below decks."

  • Another Dr. Savage Quote "Liberalism is a mental disorder". Put that in you're pipe and smoke it. Asshat!

  • then what's conservatism?

  • @Ikethepanda, Even a know nothing moron like yourself could understand,Google it.

  • defender4-How are you so certain that his "wife" isn't a man or a tranny? You seem impetuously quick to defend this strangely aberrant and eccentric misfit?

  • how are we so certain that you are the image portrayed ?

are you not in fact a 13 year old girl who had mummy help her spell big words ?

beside that - Mr Savage is indeed eccentric - when compared to the wholesale depravity that has birthed itself across the western world

  • defender- "...a 13 year old girl ..." ?? might that be one of your fantasies? lol

Try again, but this time, use your brain, not just your libido. Your frontal cortex appears to be poorly myelinated, interfering with your ability to perform higher mental functions.

  • Savage ftw!!

  • I hope Mathews is as critical with Obama with his national security and other issues as well. Or does he fear he will be coined a racist if he does critisize the Annointed One.

  • Chris Matthews wishes his popularity was up there with the Conservative talk hosts...he's a loser and he knows it. Hey Chris, do you know why you work for MSNBC? ....because nobody else would have you....a loser network and a loser hose...the perfect combination of success! It is no wonder why Fox News kicks your ratings ass every night, every hour, every minute....because nobody wants to listen to your drivel.

  • Ask NBC why they did that. Maybe They hired Savage because they knew he was a hot head and would go off on someone on national television. Then they could fire him and attempt to discredit him at the same time. That's merely speculation. I wish I could tell you but I'm not a head honcho at NBC. That was 6 years ago as well a lot of things can change in that amount of time. The political winds shift like crazy.

  • Hey Chris.....I hope you get colon cancer and die !

  • whats scary is when this guy started he tryed acting like a moderate. i guess he is out of the closet.

  • Chris Matthews gets tingles up his leg listening to other men speak...Hes a freak and even looks the part. Who in their right mind would sit and watch/listen to his jibberish!

  • Ya whats the deal with that? He's a homo fag. Why else would he work for nbc, the most liberal network out there. He's got jungle fever. he's turned on by black dick. He wants to see this country turned into a nation of cowards that kisses the ass of everyone who wants to kill us dead. It's not rocket science. This is not the time nor any other time for Americas leadership to have a limp wrist.

  • liberal? nbc? lol. that's funny. I wish you understood the difference between being for the democraps and being liberal.

If NBC was TRULY liberal, they would have worked FOR ralph nader rather than AGAINST him. Or Kucinich for that matter. Why didn't NBC help the two ACTUAL liberals?

You people are caught up in a partisan shell game- dems..repubs...same freakin' thing. The only differences are on RED HERRING social issues that serve as a DISTRACTION. gay marriage, abortion...totally bs issues.

  • liberal? nbc? lol. that's funny. wtf its no secret unless you're a brain dead douchebag. Your right about dem or repubs for the most part they all need to be kicked the hell out of there. Our founding fathers were against the "party" system and for good reason. All it does is cause squabbling and special interests among ourselves and focuses our attention away from doing what the F needs done to protect out great nation and keep us free.

  • if nbc is liberal, why did they fire left winger phil donahue and replace him with right winger michael savage during the leadup to the iraqi invasion?

That just doesn't sound like something a liberal network, with a liberal agenda, would do, now does it?

    How do you explain that?

  • What are you a rep for NBC? I don't know the internal reasonings of NBC from now or 6 years ago. Why would they hire Michael Savage? I don't know. It surprised the hell out of me. They sure fired him fast though. Look, I try to catch the news from as many sources as possible. I am basing my conclusions on what the various news agencies report in comparison to others and how they present it. It doesn't take very long to get an idea of which way a news org is slanting.

  • so, let me get this straight...nbc is a liberal organization with a liberal agenda.

again, then why did they fire donahue and hire savage?

doesn't this refute your entire theory?

at a time when we were going to war, nbc fired one of the ONLY anti-war voices on television.

Again, why would they do that?

If they were a liberal organization, as you have claimed they are, WHY WHY WHY would they fire a liberal and hire a right wing extremist???

I'd love an answer for this.

  • God forbid they should be concerned about ratings... :\

Just remember, it's all about advertising. If they went too far left, no self-respecting business would pay for adspace on their network. Thats it.

  • what ratings? donahue was often the lead show on the network for ratings. there was an internal memo leaked that said at a time when other networks were waving the flag, msnbc didn't want to seem 'anti-american'. That's censorship- the kind of censorship that helped sell the war- from clear channel firing disc jockeys that expressed doubts about the war to mtv banning all songs that mention war.

liberal media my ass. corporate media that cheerleads for war- both military as well as class war :)

  • tristram-You appear to be one of the very few and insightful thinkers in this thread. It also seems apparent that we've been under a 30+ year plan monied by international corporations to malevolently dumb down the masses, create fear and false insecurity, influence and control world governments and create a sycophantic, superstitious, paranoid and submissive common populace. Their actions and deeds have been succesful thru media outlets, especially talk-radio and religious organizations.

  • tristramshandy you get an A+. The corporate media went out of its way to may Kucinich (my congressman!) look like a nut. And Ralph Nader.. what a wonderful man. A man who truly cares for the working poor. Elitist folks are in bed with the media so competant candidates never get a chance. Our politics is no different than those of Third World nations.

  • I hate that Chris Matthews putz. sheesh..

  • Michael Savage = WatchDog For America

Rush Limbaugh = Lap Dog For Bush

  • savage and limbaugh are both fear mongering propagandists who make lots of money keeping you scared about things that don't matter- hollywood, gays, illegals- you know, attacking all the powerless groups- like the cowards they are.

  • Illegals don't matter?

  • when you look at the problems facing our republic, illegals matter, but they are a small, minor issue.

A MUCH more significant issue is the wholesale shipping of our manufacturing jobs overseas. But if right wing xenophobes like Savage complained about that- they would be a threat to the corporate power structure.

It's much easier to just blame everything on powerless groups- liberals, gays, illegals, etc, like the cowards these people are.

  • It cost the U.S. tax payers almost 30 billion a year to educate illegals, not to mention the the cost of health care. I would say that is more than a minor issue.

  • It's not QUITE that clear-cut. You see, illegals actually do pay billions in taxes- so this notion that they are getting something for nothing isn't entirely honest.

Compared to the trillions we just gave the banks- who represents a great danger to the republic- 30 billion educating illegals, or trillions getting sodomized by goldman sachs?

Keep your eye on the ball. The illegal debacle is a red herring meant to distract you from corporate malfeasance.

  • Comment removed

  • @pashrak define success. Is the USA a success, and by what measure?

  • @tristramshandy3 "Is the USA a success, and by what measure?"

    I'll bite:

There wouldn't be a "free world" without the United States. We lose this republic, and we are FUCKED as a species.

  • @Ultranothing I assume you are referring to our role in stopping Hitler during WW2. MOST historians understand it was the RUSSIANS who were primarily responsible for stopping the Germans (30 million Russians died in the war)- so wouldn't the world be free because of Russia?

I don't understand what you mean- it just seems like mindless, pseudo patriotic garbage.

The USA created nuclear weapons. I could argue we are the REASON the species is fucked.

    Counter...

  • Gee, sounds like someone needs a history lesson. Do you honestly believe that Stalin could have driven the Nazi's back to Berlin without the MASSIVE amount of aid it received from the USA? I encourage you to look up the "Lend-Lease", (Public Law 77-11), just for starters.

"MOST historians" in YOUR world apparently haven't heard of THAT pesky little factoid. They also overlooked the whole "ALLIED victory" thing.

    Pseudo-garbage, ALL!

Allow me to continue in another comment. Running out o

  • Also, until 1991, it wasn't "Russia", it was the "USSR", but that's techno-junk and not worth correcting.

    Moving on:

The USA didn't create nuclear weapons. They helped. It was, again, an alliance between the United States, Britain, and Canada.

Quick historical point to chew upon:

Research the Uranverein, or the nuclear arms race. After nuclear fission was discovered in 1938, "following nearly five decades of work", SOMEONE was going to weaponize it.

    US, or THEM?

  • @Ultranothing Lots of people have nuclear weapons today- what country is the ONLY one to ever use them? I'm sure you buy into the "if we didn't nuke Japan, we would lose a million marines"- CRAP.

Was the USA VERY important in defeating Hitler and the Germans? Yes. Of course they were, mostly in terms of production, as you suggested.

However, the Germans would NOT have lost the war if it had not been for the bloody eastern front. That is a fact.

Sounds like you could use a history lesson :)

  • Yes, the use of nuclear bombs is a bad thing. I understand. Scholarly debate on the subject may outlive is all. Yadda, Yadda, Ya. Let's not get too side-tracked, I don't want to start stemming off into a hundred side-stories and end up talking to you until we're old men.

Was the USA a success? That's the question you posed. I think we can both agree that, like it or not, the answer to that question is a resounding YES!

Our republic is humanities' BEST HOPE. Look at the rest of the world

  • @Ultranothing I appreciate your zealotry, but I am not seeking empty slogans. I want to know WHY the usa is the best. Are we the best because we have the highest rates of violent crime in the developed world, the highest prison incarceration on the planet, the highest anti-depression medication and illegal drug use?

Are we the best because we watch more TV and weigh more than anyone else?

    You are probably thinking economics.

That only works if you avoid sociology, which I, clearly, do not.

  • The U.S is not even the most violent country in the Western Hemisphere let alone the world. Countries in the Western Hemisphere like Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Jamaica, and Venezuela for example all have a higher per capita murder rate than the United States. Some people like to overexaggerate just how violent the U.S is. The majority of Americans do not live in neighborhoods that resemble warzones where there are violent shootouts and gang wars, etc.

We also keep much better records.

  • I've been doing some research, and it seems that most of your violent crime in this country comes from the "inner city", or the "ghetto" as it's called.

In Boston, where I live, if you removed an approximately 4 square mile area, Boston would go from having 52 murders in 2008 to 3 murders. And one of those was a murder/suicide. That four square mile area is the inner city neighborhoods.

  • @Ultranothing well, when those ghettos are no longer prevalent throughout our inner cities, we can talk about how great we are.

Right now, sociologically, we do NOT match up to the rest of the industrialized world- not in mental or physical health.

Why do we use so many drugs here? Why do americans use so many anti-depressants? If this place was half as great as you make it out to be, why are so many people so miserable?

Too much cognitive dissonance here to sort through in such a short space

  • @tristramshandy3 Well then, as a physically-active, drug-free, mentally balanced human being who's generally happy, I can't speak for all of the other people, but I'll try to answer each point:

"so many drugs here?" "anti-depressants?" More access to medications than most other countries.

"mental or physical health" Doctors? Availability of food?

"miserable?" When you float across the Atlantic on a refrigerator door to get here, I assume people are miserable elsewhere too.

  • @Ultranothing you keep bringing up thrid world countries when I rip on the USA ofr its dysfunctional society.

I have already said that when I compare the USA, I compare it to other DEVELOPED COUNTRIES.

I am not saying North Korea or Somalia are better places than the USA- but for MOST people, Norway and France ARE.

  • @tristramshandy3 But again - and I think this will be the fourth time I've had to repeat myself - none of those things are the fault of this country. You cannot blame our constitution, or the bill of rights, or the essence of what this country is about, for the human problems that exist in the world.

I'll do you one better: To answer your question a 5th time, YES, The USA is a success; THE success, despite ALL of that.

Despite it ALL, we are the best.

  • @Ultranothing what are we the best at? THAT is what I keep asking you- and what you keep either avoiding, or are simply unable to.

We have the highest rates of incarceration and obesity in the world.

Would you say those are things that markedly decrease how great we are?

Is it not Orwellian to the nth degree to call ourselves the land of the free while we have more people in jail than anywhere else?

Besides GDP, which doesn't interest a sociologist, HOW are we the best, exactly?

  • You live near the border. Say you have a backpack full of your stuff (clothes, food, etc.) - you're going on an adventure, and you want to see the sights, so to speak.

Would you feel safer walking NORTH, or SOUTH?

  • @Ultranothing that point is totally irrelevant. As I keep saying, I am not comparing our developed country to third world nations. I know why you insist on continuing to do that- it's the only way you can make the US keep looking so good- cause it don't look that hot next to Norway, Finland, Canada, etc.

  • @tristramshandy3 I didn't have any motive .

Why don't you move to another country? Where would you go? What country is better than the United States? Tell me!

  • I spend a lot of time outside the USA. If my family didn't live here, I would never come back except to hike Southern Utah and Northern California twice a year.

Southern Utah is the most amazing place on earth.

Have you even BEEN to another country dude?

  • @Ultranothing also, the ghettos just happen to be where our worst schools are too. You think if we build good schools and hired experienced, excellent teachers to go into these awful areas, we could fix them?

    I think so too.

It should be no surprise that crime rates are directly linked to education level.

  • @tristramshandy3 True! SOME of our schools are not in the best of shape, and AGAIN, let me explain that bad PEOPLE (such as crappy teachers who care more about their paycheck than their students) DO NOT REPRESENT OUR (successful) COUNTRY as a WHOLE.

My god man, we can talk about all the bad things that happen WITHIN this country because of the nature of human beings, but it still makes me right and you wrong as far as the question of "Is the USA successful".

  • @Ultranothing again, you just keep SAYING the USA is a success. I keep asking by what measure. Got specifics?

  • Specifics:

The most prestigious universities, the most qualified doctors, the greatest opportunities for success in a free market system, economic and political freedom, the most powerful protections under a legal system anywhere, freedom of speech.

A belief that all men were created equal, and that their individual unalienable rights were granted to them by God and not government. The role of government as a protector of individual rights, not a definer.

    30m immigrants can't be wrong!

  • @Ultranothing even according to a crazy right wing website, the US ranks 7th in economic and individual freedom in 2006. Again, this is a RIGHT WING site that is ONLY looking at economic data.

    stateofworldliberty dot org/report/rankings

  • @Ultranothing I have already said there is less upward social mobility in the USA today than other countries, so we do NOT have the best economic opportunity or opportunity for advancement.

Even the far right wing heritage foundation ranks the USA SEVENTH in economic freedom. SEVENTH!

    heritage dot org/index/ranking.aspx

  • @tristramshandy3 Oh, and speaking of schools:

The Washington Post reported in July that three agencies in China, with U.S. affiliates, offer packages to their affluent citizens, whose primary concern seems to be providing their children access to a U.S. education. "They believe that with U.S. citizenship, their children can have a more fair competitive environment" said the director of the program.

They don't send them to the ghettos...

  • @Ultranothing I don't understand what point you are making. We don't "send" people to ghettos- people already live in ghettos.

There is this thing- it's called property taxes and we use it to fund schools. This is what perpetuates our class war. This is why rich neighborhoods have good schools, and poor neighborhoods don't.

We like to pretend everyone gets an equal chance in the USA and that we have no classes, but that is total BS.

  • "We like to pretend everyone gets an equal chance in the USA and that we have no classes, but that is total BS."

Yeah, because no-one has EVER risen out of the ghetto by working hard and making something of their lives. Nope! Can't think of even ONE instance of that happening.

The part you don't want to face, apparently, is that in this country, we are ALL created equal, and if you put your heart and soul into your life, you may get a chance.

That's why they flock here. For the CHANCE.

  • @Ultranothing I challenge you to try something, if you have the time. Take a day and go visit a school in the best neighborhood in your city. See what the classes are like, get a feel for the atmosphere.

Then, the next day, go visit a school in your worst neighborhood (usually on the south or west side of town- downstream).

After you have performed this experiment, get back to me, and tell me these kids have an equal shot.

Spoiler alert: you won't be able to.

  • @tristramshandy3 I'll do you one better!

I was raised poor in the inner city, one of the few white kids in my class. My mother, a single woman with no other children, worked two jobs to support the two of us. When I was nine, my mother decided that she wanted something more for me, and got a 3rd, part time job so that she could pay for transportation to a better school (a right we all have). Inspired by my mothers hard work, I got my first job at 13, and have worked hard ever since.

  • @Ultranothing and how many of your classmates dropped out before graduating high school? I bet it was over 50%. So you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about- how those schools are NOT places for kids to get educated in anything other than drug use, teen sex, and gang culture.

And you wonder why so many wind up in prison and on welfare?

    It's to be expected.

The fact that we have not addressed this issue in MANY generations is a national disgrace and we all ought to be ashamed of it.

  • "We don't "send" people to ghettos- people already live in ghettos."

Oh gawd, you are like, barely keeping me interested in this conversation anymore when you say things that stupid. If you choose not to understand sarcasm, you probably don't want to continue this conversation with me. My point was that, despite how you cherry-pick all the bad stuff (education-system-wise and other) to demonize our country, smart parents in China pay large sums to send their kids here, to the GOOD schools..

  • @Ultranothing sarcasm doesn't work in this forum.

I am not cherry picking bad stuff any more than you are cherry picking good stuff.

Our universities are the best. Our k-12 system is in shambles.

You think it's just a matter of hard work, and everyone can succeed- but for every person you found who crawled there way out of the ghetto, a thousand don't make it.

The problem is systemic, and has its roots in the way we fund our schools. The person who set this thing up knew what he was doing.

  • It has a lot to do with the sociological and economic factors of poor Americans. The mixture of poverty, generational dependence on welfare, institutional racism (which although it has greatly declined in the past generation, will still have reprecussions for at least another generation), the honor culture, and the prevelence of gangs and the drug trade in the ghetto.

But in no other country are you AS FREE to live the life you want, to get all you put in.

Freedom is NOT a "slogan", pal...

  • Not true. Simply not true. You are freer in the Netherlands than in the USA- where a person can do drugs without consequence. Also, you are freer to live the life you want because you will never, in your life, be saddled with college debt and healthcare bills.

What kind of freedom does an American college graduate really have when he or she is already a slave to the banks- in most cases?

I think you need to take the notion of freedom a bit deeper than the one you currently work with.

  • Oh geez! Here we go. Dude, I KNEW you were going to use the Netherlands to try to prove your point. Unlucky for you, I prepared for that inevitability.

Oh, wait! "...freedom does an American college graduate really have when he or she is already a slave to the banks- in most cases?" Yup! We've got another fruit-loop here. Bye!

Here's my final thought for you: If you don't like this country, why not vote with your feet and go to the Netherlands? Get HIGH! They'll take care of you!

  • Americans are indebted like no other citizenry. If you don't see how that impacts our freedom, then you don't understand economics or sociology.

Are you an investment banker or something? You don't really seem to know anything. You have the ethnocentric, jingoistic revisionist view of history that says the USA is the greatest thing ever, and when confronted with a slew of data that shows how fucked up we are, your response? it doesn't matter LOL!

Me thinks the pebble is calling the loop fruity

  • Oh, I'm not quite done:

The NEUTRON was discovered in ENGLAND. Afterwords, scientists in ROME began experimenting with the effects of neutrons on URANIUM. Later, GERMAN scientists conducted similar experiments. The discovery of fission itself, can be claimed by GERMANY.

But it all goes back to my original point: Any great power, whether it's nuclear, political, etc., in the wrong hands will be our doom. THAT is why the U.S. is a success. The "free world", a government of laws, NOT MEN.

  • @Ultranothing I understand that someone eventually would have acquired nuclear weapons. As I have said, many countries have them today. We are the only ones to use them- and for the scores of thousands of people we killed with nuclear weapons in Japan, we WERE their doom. I am not a big fan of science primarily because of the discussion we are having here. Our species lacks the intelligence and enlightenment to handle that much power

Now, why is the USA so great again? Because we make weapons?

  • "Why is the USA so great"? I never said it was because we make weapons. Contrarily, it's your insinuation that the USA is not so great for that very reason.

  • @Ultranothing I don't want you to think, as you probably already do, that I am some naive pacifist who doesn't understand the need for defense. However, I find that so many Americans tend to lose their critical thinking skills when it comes to militarization and war- and we see it manifest itself in stupid war/occupation after stupid war/occupation.

It is no wonder that in polls around the world, it is the USA that is seen as a primary threat to world peace and stability.

    That isn't baseless.

  • @tristramshandy3 I'm so fucking glad some people on youtube make sense.

  • @efarmer385 I appreciate the remark. Have a great day!

  • @tristramshandy3 that is a good point, the illegals do contribute a bit to the economy, it is far from all take, but there are legal and cultural costs that transcend balance sheets.

  • @EsklayWilson and what are these "cultural" costs my man?

You do realize that at every point in our nation's history, there have been people saying the current batch of immigrants is changing and destroying America, right?

Perhaps you haven't studied your own history sufficiently.

Franklin warns of the German influx before 1800.

The Irish were "destroying the country and using all the social services"

Then it was the Jews and Italians.

The Italians were socialist and destroying America.

  • @tristramshandy3 its all a numbers game. In the old days someone had to get the money and risk sailing over the ocean for a week or month. Now they can just drive or walk over the border. If it was 150K illegals, I wouldn't sweat it. But 15 effen million, that is too much! Latin Americans suck, they ruin their own countries then sneak into ours

  • @EsklayWilson I live right by the border- people don't just stroll over here illegally- they go through hell, and thousands of them die in the desert- so I don't know what point you are making there.

    You just don't like latinos.

That attitude will ensure that the republican party becomes totally obsolete within 20 years, as latinos become a larger and larger voting block.

Y'all are shooting yourselves in the ass with your silly racism.

And I doubt you know DICK about south american politics.

  • BS, 1000s don't die. If it was the reverse, US citizens were sneaking into Mexico by the millions, (which has far more draconian illegal alien laws), you'd take the side of the Mexicans and demand they shoot all those racist American colonials. Every country on earth has a right to control immigration so take your phony PC racism charges and shove them.

Why doesn't Mexico fix itself? Why are they so corrupt and backwards. It's their culture moron. Check the polls, most Americans agree with me.

  • @EsklayWilson 1,000's of poor people have indeed died trying to cross into our country illegally.

I have never said I support illegal immigration, so your entire rant really comes across as one mindless set of right wing talking points.

    Traitors like me enabling?

    LOL!

Here's an idea- if you want to stop illegal immigration, go after the businesses that hire them. Aren't THEY the traitors?

Oh yeah- you are a right winger, so you are not allowed to EVER blame businesses.

    It's those damn liberals

  • @tristramshandy3 I would assume that, since the majority of illegal immigrants come to our country to WORK, that yes sir, you are correct in saying that not giving them WORK would be a deterrent.

Of course, there are those illegal immigrants who smuggle drugs into the country. They don't need to file taxes or prove to the junkies that they're here. They just need the drugs.

  • @Ultranothing I'm glad we can agree- the way to stop illegals from coming here is to prosecute businesses that hire them.

As far as drugs, the violence along the border, the thousands upon thousands of deaths in Mexico over the last 5 years is OUR FAULT. That blood is on OUR hands.

Anyone with an IQ over 65 knows the Drug War was lost the day it was declared, and has done nothing but wreak bloodshed and inner city turmoil all over the USA and Mexico.

The drugs violence is OUR fault- not theirs

  • @tristramshandy3 additionally, and to wit, all fans of freedom and liberty, as well as fans of common sense and reason, should be working hard to help California pass Prop. 19 this election- ending the injustice of marijuana prohibition, and baby stepping their way out of a deep, deep recession.

  • @tristramshandy3 Oh FUCK yeah, the drug war is the biggest con the world has ever seen. But saying that it's OUR fault entirely as Americans is ridiculous. I'm not sure if you've been brushing up on South American politics, but things are pretty awful down there.

I often wonder why, since we were so eager to bring democracy and freedom to Iraq, why we don't just go down there and do a bit of clean-up.

  • @Ultranothing Point taken- but you must admit, it is our demand that drives the crime down there.

If we legalize drugs, Mexico becomes a better place overnight. A perfect place? Absolutely not; but certainly a safer, less violent society.

We owe it to ourselves and to the rest of the world, frankly, to end our failed drug prohibition.

Also, I apologize for my condescending, arrogant tone.

I am not nearly as smart as I often think I am :)

  • @tristramshandy3 yes the latinos are becoming a larger voting block thanks to traitorous enablers like you who abet the illegals. Of course, the law means nothing since any law that impedes illegals has to be rayshist in your pc world. They have their own countries, they are not stateless people. We have a right to enforce our immigration laws that they are undermining. I wouldn't put up with this even if they were WASPs from England, you seem to be pimping their race using the race card.

  • @EsklayWilson I've done as much to assist illegal immigration as you have done to stop it- NOTHING.

Did you know that the numbers of illegal immigrants has been going down over the last 5 years?

Did you know crime has been going down too?

Hey, here's an idea- how about we end the drug war, go after the big businesses that hire illegal workers, and properly fund the border patrol.

    Problem Solved.

    You're welcome.

Now, can we focus on what matters: the banks sodomizing the republic.

  • @tristramshandy3 "You just don't like latinos". Really? Yeah, let's play the race card because there's someone out there who doesn't approve of the fact that people from border countries are ILLEGALLY (key word) immigrating into the US.

Well, "they go through hell", so the prize for running the obstacle course should be citizenship in the USA.

Hey, since you live by the border, ask the next immigrant you see "What's so great about the USA".

  • @Ultranothing When I compare the USA, I generally compare it to other developed countries. I am fully aware that MOST of the world's people live in miserable conditions, and would give their left kidney to be in Nebraska or Wyoming.

I also think it is fair to be very, very critical of the USA- for we have failed ourselves, and the world, on many levels, and on many occasions.

The Latino immigrants would be better off in France.

Here they will just wind up tools of the banks.

  • this is for obamas lover s...

The fool cannot prove his theories. He calls hallucinations like evolution to be science, but he has never observed evolution, duplicated it in a laboratory, or adequately defined it. He is a fool! And his so-called science is merely a fable (I Tim 6:20-21). The believer knows the Bible is absolutely true internally and externally: but he cannot and will not prove it to the fool, because the fool is missing the essential factor - faith (II Thes 3:1-2).

  • Dude... You're an absolute brainwashed idiot. Get a life.

  • Please prove your theories. Actu
