@Basiledes agreed... He's been like that for as long as i can remember.. Ive been watching them for 15 years. I think it looks awesome. especially when you can play like Jed
Saw these guys at the Wheatland Music Festival in Remus, Michigan. I'd never heard of them at the time. I'll never forget them now. Everyone was comparing them to the greatest jam band of all time -Grateful Dead. Thousands of people camp out at the Wheatland Festival, if you haven't gone you should. You won't be disappointed. Google it!
Best band on the planet, and unbelievably overlooked by so many people. I've seen them 6 times now over the past 3 years -- Boulder, twice in Milwaukee, Denver and twice here in Chicago. Off to Magfest next October to see them 2 or 3 times. I always feel great when I'm listening to DTB.
It is fascinating to hear your enthusiasm for DTB at this point. It's amazing to hear people pick up on this ban from a different perspective. I live near where they played almost exclusively as locals for years, and saw them at least 75 times for 3$ or so as my "favorite band"...I can't explain how much those shows meant to me.I knew I was going to have the time of my life every time.
I'm so jealous to think of seeing DTB that many times. Just seeing them again in a couple of weeks at Magfest (not 2 or 3 times, but 4 days in a row) has me so happy.
The line up with Joe thrift and Jim miller was sooooo much better...It's a shame to see them fractioned like this, but Jeb and Tara are sooo awesome to carry the torch this well.I didn't think they could even come close...they have nearly faltered but made corrections to still be good enough to retain the coolness.but I used to say "I wanted to tear my skin off and walk around in my bones..jokingly in the old days.WOW!
THANK YOU!!!! This was a HIGH ENERGY SHOW that nite it was packed but you could still dancin room. I'ii never forget this show i loved when they played RING OF FIRE!!

the drums at the very beginning sound like "Air of December" from Edie Brickell. Not sure if that was intentional, or if its all in my head.

Saw them a couple weeks ago up here in Michigan. Always... Always high energy and solid jams! $20 ticket for 3+ hours of music, totally overlooked.
