Lusciously heavy with a persistently sticky melody. Features what is perhaps Morse's most thoughtfully constructed solo for DP. A worthy successor to Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming from Purpendicular. Great song. 5 stars.
Problem is, he makes it scream most all the time. Scream, and run up and down the fret like a crazed animal. That's his style. I've seen him three times in India - 1995, 2002, 2006 if I remember right. I like him too; he's a very warm personality on stage, all smiles and encouragement. SIFLS - ya, quite possibly the best Morse-era song
@greg0058 Good guitarist, but not as distinctive as Blackmore. Maybe his biggest contributions are the ones that we do hear in the music: positive vibes, stable temperament. But does he have the divine discontent that drove Blackmore to experiment? To work with newer musicians? I'm not sure.
Please no compare Balckmore,Bolin,Morse. ARE DEEP PURPLE piriot.

Awesome solo! I am sure its Steve Morse. From blues based wailings to screaming up and down all over the guitar, he is simply superb.

Amazing, who had that imagination to create so much room, space, unpredictable harmony... and groove?.. creative. Seventh heaven.
