alot of people say the avalon was inpired by lexus..But the truth is that it wasn't...The avalon was based on the Camry platform...more like streched..but I love mine..same as im looking right here in this old comercial lol

It might have succeeded in the US, but Toyota offering Avalon in Australia from 2000-2005 (the 1st generation one, after the 1st Gen had ceased production in the states) went down like a lead balloon!
