i've used a Q2422 for many years, and it was quite good, now i got rid of it and bought a Denon 2 channel DNX 050 and i havn't looked back since.

it's in the same pricerange, and its awsome

maybe you should take a look @ it

I do however have the SDJ1 mp3 player, but i don't nor wouldn't use it in club enviroment

Q-SD - plays from SD Card

Q-Record - records your Mix on USB flash Drive.

I use the Ikey Plus USB Recorder,it´s very good, you have a VU Level Meter, Gain Control, Headphone output and you can change the Filerate (MP3 or WAV, 128,192..kbit).

American Audio have some very useful gadgets for mobile djs. The Q Record is an ideal mixer to record your set at a gig, then you could download the thumb drive and listen back to your gig set. You could identify what worked, what didn't work, areas you need improvement etc. Great way to improve and home your djing skills.
