Souray caught an edge and was going down and then momentum got Iginla and he put him into the boards, Iginla just isn't that kind of player, Souray caught an edge and Iginla didn't really have anywhere to go, not much you can do about that

uhh id have to disagree on that one. Sure he made a couple of mistakes like when he put steve sullivan on waivers but the leafs do NOT suck right now because of him. Its more John Ferguson JR. if anything. To this day Brian Burke is still cleaning up the mess that fergy created. Anyways Quinn is a decent coach who coached them to the conference finals twice in 1999 and 2002, so id advise you to sit down and shut up ya jackass!

Im an oilers fan and I will gladly take any chance I get to Bash the flames. However, this is such a blatent accident. I think Iginla is a very talented player. If anyone or anything should be to blame, it should be the touch icing. In my opinion the NHL should join the rest of the leagues around the world and move to automatic icing.

Frankly speaking, Iginla is not the type of player who would intentionally injure someone in this manner. He was trying to win the race and avoid icing; his stick was on the ice to touch the puck. It's quite apparent that Jarome wasn't expecting Sheldon to fall if you consider his reaction following the incident.
