Sceintology has expressed that, the public opinion of OT3 is a 'perverse' misconception of the actuall belief, and that it serves to defame scientology. I find it curious that nobody wants to repair these misconceptions.

i think you may not realize that virually all sciences are on the brink of major discoveries and breackthroughs in space, time, dark matter, dark energy, evolutiion, biology, chemistry, quantum physics and computing, disease. etc. we know quite a bit.. and we are relentless in our pursuit. we knew a "teeny tiny bit" 100 years ago. were pretty far past that at this point.

Everything was fine....the interview was going fairly ok, then Bashear asked the guy about believing in aliens and their dead spirits inhabiting our bodies. The guy got mad and didn't want to answer the question. Was acting like the reporter was violating his privacy and what not. Bashear asked him one last time, the guy stormed out of the room...like a lil' bitch.

Maureen was asking about Jesse Prince's arrest for marijuana a day or two before this video. Scientology hired a PI to befriend Jesse and gave him pot. Then the PI turned Jesse in to the law who raided Jesse's home.
We tracked down the PI and forced him to testify. The jury was appalled by Scientology's actions and found Jesse not guilty.

There are plenty of people who have done drugs and have been fine. The last three presidents for instance. Do I care if they or someone else wants to do pot? No. not really. I don't use it but plenty of other people do without causing problems. I'm more worried about drunk drivers than someone smoking a little pot.

I think he used the term "perversions" when speaking about the subject. Why not set it straight? He takes this really dishonest "I will not confirm or disconfirm' stance about OT3. It makes it hard to believe someone when they won't give you an answer.

Sceintology has expressed that, the public opinion of OT3 is a 'perverse' misconception of the actuall belief, and that it serves to defame scientology. I find it curious that nobody wants to repair these misconceptions.

@lithjimmy - Yes it cost money to do your OT levels. Just like it cost to go to Oral Roberts U and learn to be a pastor. In Scn we do things by gradients. It goes pretty high up and those levels are at the top. The data is given when you are ready for that level. You are asking ?s about my church yet you dont want to tell me yours? If you want to learn about Christianity, most churches give away free bibles; I think it's important to say that cannot be said about getting a copy of Dianetics. @lithjimmy - I was raised in the Nazarene church for 25 years. I studied the bible and almost went to Bible college as a youth. There are christians, mormons, etc that take scn classes. If you have read your bible you know you dont have a soul .... you ARE one. Christianity was a great stepping stone to Scn and i loved the experience. If you get the answers to life you are seeking from it then more power to you.

@toryluvslrh2 You see, whether or not a Christian pays money to become a pastor, it has NO effect on their soul. Christians believe that accepting Christ = salvation. That being said, and considering that Scn believes in reincarnation, will your next life be better, based on where you are on the 'bridge'?
For example, will an OT3 (in this life) reape greater bennefits in their next life, than a person who was only an OT2. If not, what is the use in paying for the next level.

@lithjimmy - Life cannot die. Bodies die. The spirit (thetan) goes on whether you believe it goes to the clouds with golden streets or comes back again and lives again. God is a spirit according to scripture. he breathed life into the body and gave it life hence we were made in Gods image. I'll let you work out the capabilities of a spirit if that is true.

Let's face it - there are no "clears" and there's no such thing as "body thetans" and there are no "OT powers".
If you like, it's an addiction formed from peer pressure and holding tin cans and telling your deepest secrets to a cult who keep them and use them to blackmail you.
Scientology is just a dangerous cult, with no real benefits to the members.

They can't. David Miscavige has twisted the original LRH tech so it no longer leads to anything, not that it led to much in the first place.
He's redefined even the basic auditing now, the "floating needle" definition has become impossible to work with, and long term Scientologists are leaving in droves because they can see it's just a scam to make money.
If you mention this of course, you get declared an "SP" and banished from the cult.

Nothing in Scientology is rational. They dress it up with weird made-up words, but it's simple auto-suggestive and hypnotic techniques that are designed to enslave the mind to be obedient. It is nothing more than a scam cult.

non-violent drug offenders get the bad end of the deal everywhere - they support their use (be it abuse or controlled use) without harming anyone but themselves and still get put in jail if found out. The decriminalization of drugs should be on the agenda of every tax paying citizen - after all, our prisons are filled mostly with these people.
These people don't need punishment, they need help, like alcoholics.

i think you may not realize that virually all sciences are on the brink of major discoveries and breackthroughs in space, time, dark matter, dark energy, evolutiion, biology, chemistry, quantum physics and computing, disease. etc. we know quite a bit.. and we are relentless in our pursuit. we knew a "teeny tiny bit" 100 years ago. were pretty far past that at this point.

That's what you think. Regardless of victories in the fields you've mentioned - there are still a lot of mysteries out there. I would even say that although a lot of work were done - and a lot of questions been covered - some things still is pretty vague for scientists of the earth.

Well that goes without being said. Mankind will never be "all knowing". But the point being that many areas of common scientific knowlege in this day an age are in direct contrast to and indesputably disprove LHR's imagined reality.

Exactly. Yet there are double standarts. suddenly Christ - more believable then xenu yet none of them were proven to really exist.
As for LRH - i wonder what you mean by imagined reality. And if you can understand that mankind will never be all knowing - then how can you know what reality means? were is the boundary? whats our dreams is? were we get our ideas. why postulates work. from were came concept of the soul in the ancient religions ? and so on.

Everything I say applies to christ. or any other figure that is surrounded by impossible tails. The reality I subscribe to is shared by millions on this planet and complies with the natural laws of physics.. It was not devised in the dark corner of a science fiction authors mind. It came about as a natural occurence. The laws of that reality are the same for all of us. No one is special, the same reality applies to believer and non believers. Even for a goldfish who cannot concieve of the word.

Sc for me - is a certain mystery. so far the revelation i had in it - brought me to a higher state i could ever imagine. knowledge i use - helps me a lot in life. and as far as it helps and i can't see a treason in it - I'm going to use it. and I'm my own authority in it. I need no brightest minds in different fields to agree with me - community will immediately made them ignorant - just as Tom Cruise or Will Smith. I' going to trust my own judgment.

As for Tom Cruise, well hes proven to be a nutt, and will smith well hes at a point where he wont publically acknowledge whether or not hes a scientologist and has even said that hes not so i at least give him credit for realizing that it would severly damage his career as it has Toms.
