It´s fake...you see marked places in white for him to hang hands on it. And the cables are already fixed up on him by someone who really climbed it in a wild way before. You suck. I do it with one arm and eyes closed..

the chalk is there from years of climbing and in some ways actually can make the climb HARDER, not easier.

the "cables" you refer to are known as permadraws, and are fixed gear frequently used on steep, overhanging routes because, when you fall from any point within the cave/overhang, its quite difficult to climb back up to get your gear.
