I still can't decide whether I like Janet or not. I really liked her at first but then I got a bit sick of her, and I think this video shows part of the reason why. Her inhale is louder than her voice. I think if she has singing lessons it would do a lot for her and she would be really good.

Janet was perfect and she did all she could, it was her mentor. Her mentor had no clue with what she was trying to do, what songs she connected with, and what image she wanted to portray. Her mentor didnt understand that there is more than can lead you to a successful music career other than pop. Janet was more than pop, she was soul.

@etunaruhana The mentors are nothing more than the show's paid-up puppets. Prescripted comments etc. to make the floating voter vote in a particular way eg. not mentioning when Little Mix forgot the words.

Janet wanted to keep her musical integrity and release her own songs.

The X-Factory wanted an act who would be happy to do covers (which costs very little to make) and can sell to the masses for max profit until next year's show produces their next profit making act.

@BuyingJanetsalbums well the problem is although we all say that we liked Janet best when she was 'picking' her own song, shows like X Factor are gonna try to show the diversity in an artist, and if you can't deliver then you'll get comments like ya you're boring. As for Little Mix forgetting the words, their overall performance of that song was rubbish, and the judges (except Tulisa) only had bad comments to give. As for Janet she forgot her words twice.

I think Frankie was really good in bootcamp and his audition. I don't know what happend, but in the live shows he became really awful. Same with Janet. I loved her so much in her early days on x-factor.
