This Quantum telemetry is it just für 2.4 Ghz Systems or can i install ist as a "stand alone" tool on my 35 Mhz too? I mean just a TX on battery an the display with RX. Hope you understand, because my english is not good.

yes its a standalone system. you hoot up the telemetry transmitter to the battery balancing plug. press Bind button on the telemetry RX (the receiver is the part that has the LCD display) it will then display how much "Fuel: you have one each of the cells. up to 6 cells. it works with no interference with my futaba 2.4. its great.

the weather is great here but unfortunately due to mechanical/set up issue i have not flown in 3 weeks...i may give up on the hobby. i may sell all equipment.

Do NOT sell it! I've done it a long time before, i had 2 years nothing to fly(it was no good and makes me sad) then i bought me new models. Maybe there is some time at weekend/holiday you'll be glad to have a rc model to fly! I'll give you feedback if my telemetry arrives.
Nice video! I see also a rubber band under the belly. Parachute drop? Our Mentor is still quite new, but last week survived me flying it in a tree... On board video is definitely somethng we are going to do in the future.
yes im using 4 heavy duty rubber bands to stabilize the sony webbie HD camera under the nose. definitely the way to go is onboard video and then eventually FPV with OSD.
no the cub is still in the hangar. she had a mid flight collision with my friends 55" cessta skytrainer. guess who won? the cub crippled home and landed, but the sky trainer ended on a 100 foot death spiral. RIP.
have you seen the HYPERION 25e with FLAPS, its 129.99 and looks just as good as e flight.
Yeah this shows only battery lvl, but there is a version wich you can see speed and alt. Do you know that? That's a little bit too costly, but would be nice =)

@sebasitsme @sebasitsme you should. its great . i had a nice audible chime when my batts on my mentor mentor fell below the treshold. had enough time to go for a fly by and a nice approach and landing.earlier version some say that the binding was spotty, but mine (newer version dec 09)no issues, display is clear and visible in sunny days. up to 6 cell too! they now also sell the whip antenna for the telemetry Rx .gives you even better performance lighter and easier to route and mount.
@stormranger6 there are lifers in everything. Seniors in high school, military, clubs. You know what its like lou. Some maybe ass holes, while others will help you and teach you. Do you think my buddy at the club who has 22 years experience is going to pick on me? no, he compliments me.

1-under the nose -SONY webbie HD @ 1080p $120
2-underside aft fuselage (the one that shows the landing gear)- 19gram keychain spycam. 8gig. ebay $24USD
3- mid fuselage -looking aft shot- stick spy camera,18 gram 15$usd on ebay
added a 4 gig micros sd card i had.
goodluck and keep flying your mentor(but not into trees)

Qaunum might be a good thing! Maybe I get that too. Or think that you can see speed and alt also. I allready got Logger v3.
And btw, my F-18 did Flight! And It still at one piece! I got video here too, take a look ;)
(And at still orginall, it was WAY too powerless with 3s batt)
