  • You'd like a band called Kamchatka if you've not heard them already. Great band!

  • Does it hum a lot? =s

  • FUCK I LOVE YOUR PLAYING! Its so raw! Sort of like Johnny greenwood.

  • why did you use the looper only towards the end? the riff sounded cool too...

  • real nice playing, these are P90's?

  • if you are going to do all of the upgrades? why not buy what you want? i have the same guitar and i think it is great! nice video and playing!

  • @klv400 If what he wants is a tele style body, maple neck and fingerboard, sperzel tuners and GFS soapbars, there really isn't anything he just go out and buy. I am a paycheck to paycheck laborer, my rent and other necessities take 75-80% of my income. However, If I want a killer tele, I get a squier standard tele, GFS pickups, graphite nut, wilkinson tuners, and set it up. For a total of around $300 + a few hours of work, I get a tele that would have cost a grand if I just "bought what I want".

  • @AdamRainStopper if it is $300.00 for all the parts that is the way to go.

  • @klv400 Well, approximately 300 bucks AND you have to know how to do the work and be willing to dissect a guitar you just paid 200 for. For me it's well worth it, some people would rather pay $5K for a custom job done to their exact specs and not have to lift a finger, but I find that I enjoy an instrument more if I have done some work on to get it to a point where it's really "mine".

  • can you take the pickguard off?

  • how thick is the neck? thanks

  • buying + upgrading one soon :)

  • Would you say this guitar is worth buying if you put some new pickups in it (Bare knuckle humbuckers)? or is the agathis body just too much of a handicap?

  • For a squier that guitar looks and sounds sweet! I cant belive its so cheap. Def gonna get myself one of these babies real soon.

  • how much difference would it be, between this guitars (Squier VM series) and the MIM fender guitars, for example the standard tele or the new blacktop series?

  • cornford? That's a highend amp, innit?Anything would sound good through that.

  • @rw5791 In theory - it's expensive but I wouldn't say it sounded particularly great, in retrospect.

  • @rw5791 Trust me when I say that "anything" does not sound good through a high end amp.

  • @ThisIsNotHappyDays let's put it this way..............I'd much rather play this budget guitar through that hand wired cornford than a custom shop guitar through a POS printed circuit board amp.

  • Okay, now obviously a P-90 in a Fender/Squier is gonna sound different than a P-90 in a Gibson Jr., but do you think it's possible to get that Gibson sound using this Squier Tele?

  • lol we the same wrist watch.

  • AHHH!!! I love that riff you loop and then harmonize at the end there! :D Way to make a cheap guitar sing!

Any complaints about this cheapie? I don't really mean that in a very derogatory way, I just suspect I'll get one of these someday and then swap out a few things:)

  • I was thinking about getting this for my first guitar.

  • This has convinced me to put p-90s in a tele. Hollow body and mahogany though. Nice and twagy

  • I love these baby's.

I have got a Mexican Tele at the moment, I hope santa can fit one of these beauties in his sack for me this year.

The late great Mick Green always played one of these.

    Butterscotch Blonde!

  • Your guitar looks lighter in colour than other videos on here

are there different paint-jobs of this guitar in blonde? or did u paint strip?

  • @Just8eatit Nope, that's the stock blonde. I think it's only available in blonde or black.

  • @metalcore929 i thought so too until i got one that was kind or black/darkish reddy orange

  • Dude I love the sound! I wanna get one but I'm tied between to the two colors! BTW, you play really well

  • viejo qué tal suenan esas pastillas con un distorsión fuerte hacen ruido ?

  • that's a sweet little tele! I just ordered my first real tele yesterday and I can't wait to get it.

  • which one is better, the custom 1 or custom 2

  • sound so good man.

  • i just got that guitar today, it sounds so good

  • Sounds great!

  • I wouldn't change a thing, those are nice pickups!

  • I tried one of these today (same color). I thought it was the best Squier Telecaster model. The Affinity is weak and quiet in comparison. The Standard Telecaster's 21 frets & rosewood neck bother me. Some of the Mexican made models are very worth their price and the USA Highway One. But honestly I thought this was better than several of the Mexican made Telecaster's I've played. Could have been that particular example though. At first I wasn't sure about the humbuckers, but they have a good tone

  • how good is it for blues?

  • could anyone tell me if this guitar is better than a danelectro 59' or 67' reissue? i'm doubting between these guitars, gotta have a new one soon =)

    peace!

  • play both and compare for yourself, it's all personal preference

  • this guitar sounds super dirty. i think i'm gonna get a hold of one cuz it seams like a cheap alternative to the Fender Jim Adkins signature. with the right eq settings do you think this would be a good guitar for punk?

  • @broj15

Yeah, it gets the nice punchy, ballsy tone. p90s = Good for punk. I own it.

  • what ampli did you use?

  • @thedeadliest I think a Cornford Harlequin

  • Great tone mate, ditto the playing! Hopefully acquiring one of these myself very soon, in black but. I think some of these newer Squiers punch well above their weight. How have you found the stock tuners thus far? Cheers mate, keep it up! :)

  • Brilliant!

    Demo + guitar + playing = fantastic.

    Thank you.

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool :D

  • IT sounds incredible what's your amp. I wan't one

  • Is that what this is?

  • i would say so

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 Hey, EmoBoy, how about watching the video before commenting? That was really a sad and misplaced comment.

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 you mean of someone playing power chords and crying about their impossibly hard middle class family life, wearing long sleeves to hide their half assed attempts at cutting themselves? fuck emo kids and anyone who looks like em

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 What? Do you want him to play a song about how you hate your dad and your sad because your happy? GTFO of here, this isnt even a review, hes jamming, learn to like it, and dont get emo.

  • @WhAtIsLiFe94

No, something original sounding. There's a little bit of it in here but it's mostly bluesy stuff. I hear that all the time from players that i can't even tell them apart.

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 I'm sure all of your guitar videos are completely %100 original, I can't wait to check them out. Wait.... you don't have any?! So maybe you should shut the fuck up?

  • @permian11

I don't have any guitar videos because I use my guitar, and my time, to write and RECORD complete songs. Then I share them on myspace. And my music is original, unlike this crap.

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 I would absolutely LOVE to hear your original songs. What's the myspace of your world-changing incredible creations? And btw, I'm in a band too but I don't get off on insulting others. The more music the better you prick. Anyways, let's hear your music.

  • Very goos sounding guitar! And very cheap! I wanted Schecter PT Tele, but this also sounds very good! How it's with a lot of fuzz ?

  • excellent !

    the Guitar is modified ?

  • it's stock. and that's superb about it - first squier which sounds really, really, really good.

  • no, well the p90 are already mounted in the guitar, so it is a modified Telecaster but you buy the guitar like that ;)

  • You're thinking of UP grading to GFS p/u's ?!!?

Don't do it! They are flabby and lifeless.Stick with the Duncans---miles better.

  • I´ve had that same guitar for 4 years now & I love it! This guitar made me fall in love with P90´s, the ones that come with it a seriously nice sounding... no need to upgrade.

  • hey do you know what kind of pick ups are in that guitar?

  • Seymour Duncan P90s.

  • Duncan Design ones, cheaper model. But they sound so good.

  • good ending :)

  • Hey man, how do you like this compared to your ASAT? It seems to have a really nice fat sound. Does it seem pretty quality?

  • This or your 60s classic vibe strat???

  • hey man, where did you pick this up for 120?

  • I really want to get a C II. Been watching eBay, I really should buy one.

  • The finishing tune is great!

  • Hello!!!! Did it want to know if your this modified, or this original guitar ......... and that I equip you used to record the video????? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi there - the guitar is original. I just used my macbook in imovie with the inbuilt isight camera and microphone to record the video.

  • @metalcore929 You use the built in mic on the macbook? Where did you have the amp placed in relation to the comp? My quality never sounds this good when I record on my macbook...

  • @metalcore929 You record with your macbook mic? Mine always sound like shit. Where do you place the amp in comparison to comp?

  • MMMMMMMM.....I like.

I am going to buy a Squier. Maybe this one.

I like dat Strat video you just posted too. That has mad tone.

  • Nice ! I got the same Tele and i LOVE it .. Best bang for the buck

  • u feel like getting a squire.... cheap guitars are fun

  • Please let me know what is the song at 3:40?

  • It isn't a song, it's just improvising.

  • Hey this Tele sounds great!

    What's your amp?

I'm planning to get one next to my LP!Do you recommend?

  • Comment removed

  • He plays a Cornford Harlequin.

  • tone is in the loobs

  • Loobz!

  • What are you using here for drive, by the way? I often love your drive sound man, always quite modern and classic at the same time! Great rhythm sound.

  • Hey thanks man, just the Timmy.

  • So THIS is the Timmy?! This is the one you use everywhere? It has a very .. 'indie sound' - if you get my meaning. It doesn't instantly breathe classic rock, luckily!

So it's JUST the Timmy or are you drivin' the amp here as well?

  • lol. Tone for days!

This things sounds pretty good though! It's obviously in the right hands. :)
