  • The weak-era theory applies too for Nadal, he has won half of his slams there. Federer is the goat you like it or not. I dont think all the legends would actually say it if it wasnt true..

  • Anyone who says Fed played in a weak era during his prime is just trying to discredit his accomplishments. He was just so much better than everyone else that it looks like a weak era, but it most definitely was not. He fought off the best players in the world for 4 straight years before he lost the #1 ranking, and you don't do that without being seriously impressive.

  • @3timeMVPNash anyone who doesn't have the balls to say something straight to someones face instead of posting it in a general remark is weaker than his crybaby idol himself lol. cheers, ur blocked under this vid too. bye.

  • this is only regarded as the best ever because of the drama and location of this match and prestige of this tournament, level wise their aussie open final was much higher, but because not many ppl in europe etc saw it and the tournament is less prestige, they don't rate it as high. which is unfortunate cus the level of that match will never be reached.

  • @thisnamealsotaken well said, Federer really felt defeated only after that match, but this match is no less exciting

  • @jerilee86 when i saw ur line about federer only feeling defeated after that match the delusional federer fan alarm went off and after reading ur other comments it went ringing like hell loll. i wonder why federer fans are the most blind ones of all the major players fans (joker, nadal, murray etc), perhaps cus they feel the truth would hurt too much? playing wise I'm a fan of all 4 but characterwise i cannot stand mr federer for one reason: his excuse making, something he shares with his fans.

  • @thisnamealsotaken Excuse me, Am missing the part where there is an excuse. The comments were objective and just my view. And if what you were telling about federer fans were right, then they are fools. A great number of tennis experts, legends, other players and majority of tennis watching population feel that he is the greatest. So they neednt make excuses. And even when a debate for GOAT comes up, its between, Fed, Pete, Rod and Bjorn. None of the other 3 yet.

  • @jerilee86 the excuse part is in ur 1001 comments u made under federer and nadal videos, which are in the same line as other federer fans. i never said he wasn't the greatest ever (at the moment), i said federer fans make excuses for his losses (esp against nadal and joker) and for nadals wins, because they know that nadal is awfully close to overtake his record (they and u should thank god for joker btw cus otherwise nadal would have had 14 slams by now lol) and be the GOAT.

  • @thisnamealsotaken again, if u view it as an excuse, I cant help it. It was not about Federer losing one match but how the courts have slowed down and helped baseliners style of play. If not for Djokovic, Federer would have had more slams too. and 14? Federer came close to beating Djokovic in the US open semifinals while Nadal got creamed. same happened in 2009 with Del Potro. If there is no competition anyone can be GOAT. Just like Federer had a nemesis, Nadal too has one in Joker.

  • @jerilee86 ur a lot like the blind federer fans while u claim to be different, ur placement of 1000 comments in response to one is a major one lol. I'm gonna keep it short and powerful and knock u out with ur own excuse: u said anyone can become the GOAT when there is no competition. well mr federer is the prime example of that cus he won the bulk of his slams during the weakest era ever, even media and other players said this. he won when legends were gone and the current top hadn't arrived.

  • @thisnamealsotaken thats exactly wat am saying, duh, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are in an era with less competition compared to the previous era where one found it hard enough to do a career grandslam. And ur so called short and powerful doesnt give any hard facts but is being merely argumentative. A person who reads mine and ur comments can see who is blind. U jumped at the first opputunity to call Nadal GOAT coz he is supposed to be holding 14 GS? Let it be.

  • @jerilee86u should follow ur own advice; let it be, cus ur so confused that ur actually fighting urself saying that federer is the GOAT cus he has the best nrs but then saying everyone can be GOAT when theres no competition (which goes more for federer than anyone else in the history of sports, perhaps with the exception of wilt chamberlain who was a 2 meter plus black dude playing ball with 1.80 m white dudes lol). the only blind one is u, like all fed fans, which was my very first comment.

  • @jerilee86 go talk to ur new fed dickriding buddy here under us, ur blocked too cus for a moment i thought u weren't blind like them but u are so cheers mate.

  • @thisnamealsotaken perhaps, u r either confused or blind or both, firstly since i gave too much stats, u r confused or u r too blind to read them. All these stats r true. Everybody knows tennis is now a game for baseliners. Organisers, experts and those who prepare the courts agree. Even the tennis legends and experts of the game hold Federer as GOAT. So according to u, all these people and all fed fans around the world are blind while u r the all knowing wise guy?

  • @thisnamealsotaken Nadal has 4 grandslams apart from his french open collection, a little less for a GOAT. Even assuming that the facts given by me were excuses, ur predictions abt Nadal having 14 GS if not for Djoker looks like an excuse. Fed would have way more than 20 if not for Nadal. Djoker can also become a GOAT if not for the other three or inspite of the other three.

  • @thisnamealsotaken Its not only the number of GS, Federer made it to 18 out of 19 grandslam finals from 2005 wimbledon to 2009 Australian open, 23 consecutive semifinals, still have not lost before quaters in GS since 2004 French open, 237 consecutive weeks and 285 total weeks as No. 1, record 6 times winner of year end world championships. Even Nadal with his impressive record comes a distant second among current players.

  • rsosa92, you are simply the best, please dont ever stop doing what you do :)

  • @littletennisking thanks man :)
