Anyone ever read Chuck Klosterman's book Fargo Rock City? It's about 80s metal, and if's fantastic...he has a thing in there about the moral of this song being that a small town, pretty, nice girl leaves for LA, and ends up a slut in a Poison video. It's really funny.

Over the past decade or so, the younger generation seems to find 'mullets' and 'hair metal' something to ridicule, but...how many of their bands will be around 30 years after their heyday playing to 20K fans?!?!...there's not a single band that has come out in the past decade that will be selling out arenas 20-30 years from now because the music is junk. 80's music fans are the best and most loyal fans around, why?
