You know that's hilarious! I originally wanted the speaking parts to be heard to help people understand the situations they went through when they first met, but another viewer told me it would sound better with just music because it distracts from the compliment of the song to Ahsoka who is the focus of the vid.
Ah, yeah, I'd see where they'd get it. Both ways are equally good, but when you mix the two (music and voice at same noise levels) it just makes it all muttered and not all understandable. :P
In my own personal opinion, Ahsoka, during the show's finale, should fall to the dark side and embrace the power of the Sith, forcing Anakin to face her in a final confrontation where he must try to turn her back to the light or, albeit reluctant, kill her. With Ahsoka's death at the hands of Anakin, it would connect flawlessly to Revenge Of The Sith and explain why the Council denied Anakin the rank of a Jedi Master, because he failed to save his apprentice from the dark side and took her life.
Well he really wouldn't have taken her life if she truly insisted that she was staying on the darkside. You can't force somebody to change their ways if they had their mind set, so yes, he would have to kill her because she would kill him and she's too dangerous to be left alive. Anakin couldn't be blamed for her decision Obi-Wan couldn't be blamed for Anakin's convert. Sidious did things behind the scenes to him. Do you know how the finale will end? Does Ahsoka go off on her own or something?
I have no idea how the series will end, I merely expressed what I feel would be the most satisfying conclusion to finish this show. It'd be unwise to have Count Dooku murder Ahsoka considering in Revenge Of The Sith, Anakin's sole reason for vengeance against Dooku in their final duel is to defeat him for slicing off his right arm, nothing more.
Think about it, should Ahsoka become a Sith apprentice, it would make perfect sense as to why Yoda, Mace, and the rest of the Council, who trusted Anakin enough to give him his own Padawan, only for his teachings to lure her towards the dark side and ultimatley her own demise, refused to make him a Master in their order as a consequence.
Yeah, you have a point. Sadly, I only have the knowledge as far as the movies go. I never was the type to speculate! I don't know how really! (Laughs nervously) I was wondering why he was allowed a padawan when yhe himself hadn't passed the trials yet to become a master.
Well, Obi-Wan was granted the rank of a Jedi Knight after defeating Darth Maul and took Anakin as his Padawan despite not being a Master himself. Also, Anakin defeated Asajj Ventress in the original Clone Wars cartoon to earn his rank as a Knight so I guess those who have proved themselves worthy enough to gain such a rank are given a Padawan as a test to achieve the Master rank.
A lot of people I knew where questioning about his non-existent graduation into a master with evidence of a non-existent padawan so to speak. XD. One thing I wondered about Vader's secret apprentice. How did he teach Galen Force Lightning if he never adopted it himself? Basically Vader chokes you through the tv screen and out of the air. Maybe Galen was self-taught on that ability? I always wondered that. Anakin never learned force lightning.
Yeah, that was my conclusion also. I wonder why Vader never went all the way. Maybe it was the "Good" streak that he had in him. I'm sure the force lightning ability is specifically associated with the sith and frowned upon by the jedi. Or at least Jedi don't seek to learn it. A jedi could seek it out and learn it, but then that would be considered toying with the dark side. ANd you can't unlearn something like that. Galen didn't anyway.
Having both his arms sliced off and replaced with mechanical ones coupled with a robotic suit hardly made it possible for Anakin/Vader to grasp the power of force lightning.
Oh. That makes perfect sense. I'm just really curious though if Vader even considered it at all in his Sith career. He likes choking people through tv screens so maybe he's in his own realm with that one. XD
Yeah, that could be a big problem. The force alone in energy waves and eruptions works well also. I just really got into the force unleashed game. I have the ps2 version, sadly. I want the ps3. The graphics are soo much better and the cinematics are just more choreographed. I seriously think the ps2 version was slapped together at the last minuet. Of course the ps3 version is longer since the system can hold all that data. I don't have money for a ps3. I do have the ps3 cutscenes on my comp! ^_^
Cool, thanks! That's really kind of you. I didn't mean to sound overly critical or anything- it was only a very minor setback in comparison to the entire video.
But still...a music only version still sounds better. ;)
Don't worry, you weren't overly critical at all. I'm very open for suggestions and fan details. I like star wars myself and I just want to know what people want to hear, yet still keep my taste with it. ^_^ I'm very happy and thankful for your advice so, thank you very much it! ^__________________^
Thank you very much, I kind of did regret leaving in dialog, but I'm a story teller kind of person and I wanted the people to understand the frustrations that she went through before she found out that she would be Anakin's official padawan. I figured that hearing them speak at times would express the other one's personality locking horns with the other. ^__^ But you're right, perhaps I was being too practical. I do that sometimes. ^^;
Great choice of music! Fits her greatly considering that she comes from an exotic planet and from tribal social environment. I'm rather surprised you didn't get any ratings for this yet.
Although your editing is great I just wish you didn't have dialog over the lyrics in there...its okay for quieter parts, but the music should speak for itself.
You know what? Just for you, I'll go and make a music only version! How about that? Its no big because I have all of my videos saved in editing format! I'll post, thanks for the feed back, that's what I was hoping for!
you think you could redo it with no music please

Love the song, but maybe you could've toned it down a bit to let the speaking-parts through. Just my suggestion. :)

There are some things a student can learn themselves so yeah, Galen probably mastered force lightning without Vader's guidance.

I have no doubt that Darth Vader would have loved to master force lightning, but there was no way in hell he could do that with metal hands.
