dude, u need to raise the idle on that thing man. it should be between 1400-1500 rpm if u got a exhaust.

@dukviper90 Yes I know, idle is low. But how that matters what exhaust is in the bike?

@jupezki2004 aftermarket exhaust = less restriction= low pressure. U need to raise the idle so u get better throttle response off the line. U don't have too. I like the instant throttle response off the line.

nice bike man. very clean. I'm selling mine to get an 06 +... :( kinda bummed out about it... lol, but i really want a 3rd gen.

@jupezki2004 from what I understand and I could be wrong, bigger pipes mean less compression especially in the lower rpm range so you compensate.

@bonitonate4u It stops the bars from shaking accelerating hard out of corners so it stops it getting tank slappers and makes the bike more stable :)
