Now, South Korea is illegally occupying a Japanese island "Takeshima" in "Sea of Japan" by force. Sea of Japan is the water inside "Tartary Strait, La Perouse Strait, Tsugaru Strait, Strait of Korea, and northeastern limit of East (china) Sea.

Japan has upped their military. So has China. North Korea launched a missile, again, causing South Korea to question why they don't have resources superior to their neighbors in the north, in terms of missile technology. They do have advanced satellite capabilities but they need Russia to launch them. Either North and South Korea work together or they cause the end of the world. It's originally Korean's sea, but the Americans failed to put it down globally in textbooks, internet, etc., as a korean sea. It even has a name for it that's korean. It was not called "East Sea", it was called "Donghae" (Koreans have not been speaking English for 2000 years). Japan did not force Westerners to use the name: 70% of 19th century maps had already adopted the name "Sea of Japan" during Japan's period of isolation (Sakoku). "East Sea" would not make sense as it is to the West of Japan. Also, if you translate the names of many other seas in asia from various languages into English, you would end up with multiple East Seas.
