Nice! This kinda reminds me of what my sister did. She cut up one of her old pairs of jeans and made it into a bag. Very useful! And she didn't have to use much money at all. I think she only bought some accessories to decorate it with. She uses that bag A LOT!

I made this, but did the inside of the bag with duct tape =) So that it won't stretch so much..

Only thing is, i don't like the seam you see at the back of the bag.. :-( But i guess i can live with that :-)

Sorry but this bag is impractical.

If you dont do the strings/straps much much stronger and thicker, you wont be able to carry anything more than a notebook and a pen in that bag, trust me.

This idea is actually from another lady. She showed up as a guest for Martha Stewart. She recycles old tshirts and tank tops to make hangbags. She also lines them completely with duct tape to give it strength, longevity and a leather look. Real cool!! Also, it's a no sew project for those who don't have a sewing machine. :) The video is on youtube, also. It's a fun project without the mess of sewing.
