If you want to get a very fast bootup speed, around 7-17 seconds then get a solid state drive. Not only that, disable the startup programs to make it boot up faster, around(4-14seconds.
Here is an easier way: start, then search for msconfig, click enter. Then go to the start up tab, and UN-check all the program's you DO NOT want at start up
I have windows Vista and I will never go back to xp, I have a Gateway GT5670 computer with a AMD Phenom 8400 triple core processor and 3 Gigs of Ram. On my machine Vista runs flawlessly and boots faster than xp. I have no problems at all With Windows Vista xp1.
dude lol for vista to run properly, u need atleast above 1 gb of ram. I understand that xp is much faster with low ram but vista needs more ram just for aero and its applications. On my pc i have 2 gb ram and it uses 700 mb of ram just for vista without any applications in the background. Therefore as i have 2 gb ram i dont even have to disable my startup applications cause its fast enough
What's the song?
