  • this is gay

  • @xXKENNETH108xX I think you have this song mixed up with yourself. maybe if you get that nigger cock out your mouth, you could focus on typing right

  • bucketheads music truly saves people!!!

  • ny hero...

  • Bucketheads mother is alive and well. She is still with his father who by the way is the athletic director at Damien High School in La Verne, CA. There is an interview with his father about his family that was given when the athletic field was named after him. His moms name is Nancy.

  • the gods rainbow with bucket's metaphor

  • people that compare guitarists are just people who need to confirm their intellect by doing some compare / contrast observations. it's pointless

  • R.I.P. AUNT SUZIE 1932-2007

  • i just smoked cannabis before i listened to this song i was laughing after

i was weeping with tears of rainbow

  • Decoding The Tomb Of Bansheebot

  • VISIT AND WATCH mesaboogie1231 CHANNEL!

    AMAZING!

  • this song is about as deep as my shoe. why do ppl find this pretty? go listen to the Beatles or Led Zeppelin if you want to feel true emotion

  • @vrem hey man everybody has their own opinions about emotional songs.. so if you don't like this one don't friggin listen to it. or better yet don't give me advice on musicality because most people these days are versed in as wide a range of music as "my shoe."

  • @deathgift07 sorry. i wrote that comment when i was drunk trying to make people angry. i love buckethead, and his songs are emotional. especially his album COLMA. that is all

  • @vrem it's fine just know that it's a comment not an opinion... /:

  • talking about music is like dancing about architecture

  • <3.

  • What the fuck is emotional playing anyway? Playing that evokes emotion in the listener? If that is true, then emotional playing cannot be defined or categorized. We do not all have the same emotions or reactions, therefore emotional playing is different for all of us. It seems like many people lose sight of this and think anything played fast is "played without emotion." To me buckethead's playing, even his faster playing, is emotional and just all around good music for the mind and soul.

  • I was playing Modern Warfare while listening to Buckethead, and then i decided to focus on the more interesting of the two. Even without words, his music is captivating. It's like it's a language to him.

  • in my school on the last day,we were aloud 1 song each to put on in class and this was my choice and every one was silent till the end even the justin beber fans!

  • Funny, how supposedly "cool" "strong" "hard" guy's get meek on listening this Song.

People like buckethead, people which "touch" folks, should rule our damn country... would be better.

  • Buckethead is my hero... this is the first time music messes with me in such a deep way. I almost cried when i heard this for the first time, this man truly is the best guitar player in my opinion.

  • you really have to be a bit insane to b as gud as buckethead

  • love this song, nothing is explain my feelings now, everything ...... about.....

  • fucking. amazing.

  • fucking. amazing.

  • Ahhh qué canción tan la chimba parce!

  • I am kind of crying, i am sad, and fucked over by a girl i love, and this song just is so deep, without even saying a word.Bucket head.... you are a god to me. Thank you

  • @Jordantm0 Know what you mean...been trough that myself too.

  • @Souldza me too man, buckethead rescued me man no shame in that

  • i second Souldza...i've been through what u went through more than once, and i'm still with the same girl. adding to that, my life is not really going the way i wanted it tovgo. i learned that u just gotta push through the hardships that life may give you and enjoy the simple things in life. Next time u feel down, just listen to this or electric tears...it'll definitely put you at ease

  • @Jordantm0 dont worry.. the moment of hardship you are feeling now will be dwarfed when you're older and get fucked over by the government

  • @ScrewAttackChina Obama supporters will find out he is using the working class against their will, but then it will be too late to reverse Obama's Progressive Socialist legislation. Sad exploitation of people of people who actually believed in Obama's hope and change.

  • @Jordantm0 I got fucked over by 2 girls just recently, You can always count on a woman to sneak around on

you or stab you in the back eventually, Than when they drop you for another guy they'll make up some

bullshit reason why It's your fault they left when really all it is..is that they just aren't interested in you anymore

and want somebody new. If you wanna get on top of the game, just be like the Jersey Shore guys and use them and leave em before they do it to you.

  • @Jordantm0 same here... that's why I'm listening :/

  • @Jordantm0 go grab a guitar and learn if you don't know how to play. music heals the soul big time!

that and psilocybin muchrooms my friend.

I'm sending lots of happy vibes your way, look out for them.

  • @Jordantm0 When a girl fucks you over, you gotta fuck back, man :D

  • One of the most unique ballads by Buckethead.

  • My fav. Buckethead song. This song is going to be written in my will to be played at my funeral. 6:38 of silence.

  • i wonder how he looks like...

  • @GfCommando

Do a google image search for Brian Caroll

  • @TedPalen Thats hes name? Sweet, thanks.

  • Buckethead is god in human form. and plays the greatest music too my ears. Rock on buckethead.. rock on..

  • you and i have the same thought about him :) he is god of guitar

  • great sequel to the original soothsayer, its too bad this one is so much less known

  • Omg.... greAT SOng u__u i love it

  • is the 1st pic zooming in on him ? or am i just too high ,

  • i think it is ._.

  • no, ur just 2oooooooooo high

  • Although this song does not come from the album, "Electric Tears" would be so appropriate for it. Such emotion! So beautiful!

  • @SlimSh8E Electric tears is a full guitar album, this would be much more suited to be on colma, because of the melodical relevance. :D

    Oh, and it had drums.

  • buenaza

  • i almost feel asleep to this song ! listin to this with low volume and ull like fall asleep

  • EPIC!!!!!

  • this song is absolutely amazing

  • Does the beginning of the song have the fuzz effect on? Cause thats what I thought, but then some guy said it was distortion...doesnt really sound like it.

  • delay

  • srry its not delay, i think its kinda of a little feedback in the distorsion

  • From which album is this?

  • Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot

  • With my taste in music Buckethead is a weird one in my collection. But his music is just amazing. He fucking owns.

  • his aunt used to call him soothsayer then he made soothsayer for her and she loved it so much that when she died he wrote sail on soothsayer so she would like live on in his music

  • soothsayer, sail on soothsayer, and the song Aunt Suzie were all for his aunt Suzie as stated by Buckethead. So not sure why its so hard for you to understand.

As for the meaning I couldn't tell you but I'm guessing he is expressing his deep feelings for his aunt... Just a hunch tho. lol

  • sensishooter

I thought aunt suzie died. I think thats what this song was for.

  • I wish people would stop acting like they know who these songs were written for, and what they're about.

  • he must have thought of his aunt as a soothsayer, which literaly means some one who practices soothing words like a clarviont or somebody

  • Clairvoyant?

  • the normal soothsayer was writ 4 aunt suzie 2

there must have been a significane of the word

  • first time a song made me cry was soothsyer(*different song*)

im having it played at my funeral

  • damn ur an asshole...wow

  • ive thought the same thing myself....

  • hey i'm sure drug addicts have had master of puppets played at their funerals..

and who wouldn't want everyone air guitaring with a shiver in their spine while mourning a lost loved one?

  • First time i started to cry by a song was by this song and after that i have started to cry almost every time i hear a buckethead song who is so emotional like this are

    ♥Buckethead In My Heart♥

  • Practice engrish...yes...engrish...I went there.

  • post a link to download

  • wow, thats what i call music

  • this is really something

this is one of those songs where you can keep listenin to it, and you never get over it..

  • to damn right

  • he wrote more than two songs for her aunt. He did this because i believe she gave him his first guitar

  • No his first guitar was a white Hondo electric/acoustic purchased at Styles Music in Pomona CA. He payed it off as he went.

  • J78Kio, he made an entire album for his mother when she wuz dying of cancer (im pretty sure it wuz cancer), his relatives mean the werld 2 him, hes amazing, most people wud say hes some freak in a bucket, but those people are stupid, God Bless Buckethead, greatest musician to grace this planet

  • Comment removed

  • @Gu1tAr1sT94 his parents kicked him out at an early age... his dad used to kill his chickens..

  • @Gu1tAr1sT94 i thought it was his aunt Suzie?

  • @NicriCOy actually the album "colma" is dedicated to his mother who was dying of cacncer and was in the coma

  • @D0nRidah damn im stupid

i thought that Colma was named Colma, caus there is a town called Colma and therre is cemetery named Hills of eternity

  • Buckethead is damn good.

  • so he wrote 2 songs for his aunt?

    she mustev meant a lot.

  • Comment removed

  • buckethead the god of rock!!

  • @yarutobi The god of music...

  • Powerful as he is, I cant stop listening to his songs !

  • its sad that this amazing guitarist isnt well known, (dont flip on me i know hes well known and all but not really at the same time)he really has amazing songs that other guitarists would envy to be able to create

  • I lie in my bed and listen to this song and just imagine that Im on the sea on a sailboat and drift away from all the problems. I know this is a song for his dead aunt or granny (sorry dunno) but thats what I imagine and its very calming. :)

  • I hate how everyone argues about "Who is the best guitarist". Guitarists are like colors, everyone has their favorite and least favorite, but that doesn't mean you have to ridicule them.

  • Exactly.

  • Although you have to agree...

Buckethead is pretty god damn amazing. :P

  • @Alucard007331 True, but i dont think that there can be any denying that at the very least, talent-wise, Buckethead is the greatest. He can play faster than almost anyone, sweep, tap with 8 fingers, play 64th notes like cake, do all sorts of pinch harmonics, bends and vibratos, and really anything at all. Hes got more speed and technicality in his playing than any other 2 guitarists combined. Ik its all preference, but if there can be a "best", it's Buckethead.

  • Comment removed

  • @Alucard007331 Then Buckethead's the rainbow

  • godlike.

  • I think I might like this more than Soothsayer

  • I really dont know how i went so long without listening to buckethead

  • Tell me about it, same here.

  • :) you took the words right out of my mouth

  • @Supershackda Same here..but as the saying goes "When the student is ready, the Master appears".

  • @Supershackda It's like once you're attached to him, you just don't want to let go anymore...

  • wow

  • amazing.

  • pure gold

  • Awesome.
