@akaashmodi This works over both 3G & Wifi however function wise I prefer the other app "WhatsApp" that can communicate between iPhone & BBM with text, voice recording, video recording, geo tag, photograph & with push notification & customizable wallpaper.

jailbroken phones/iPod need to have "Push Fix" applied from cydia.

Avoid the "Push Fix & youtube" that caused some errors I think.

It can work on both WIFI & 3G but of course if you have a 3G data plan the convenience to ping anywhere with 3G coverage is great plus to this great app

I heard u can download a fix in cydia for push notification and reinstall ping! To get it working but personally I had not tried it

I'm sorry I read on the developer's website FAQ found out that those iPhone that had been unlocked (to use other telco) may not be able to use this app.

Jailbroken iPhones but not unlocked can use this app

Not sure, did you put a User ID in (make sure it's a real one not a test user ID since you can't change it later)
