A few people remarked that the Filipino film industry needs to step up, and I totally agree. However, what may look bad to most may not be necessarily be true to the Filipinos. Compared to other places in the world where people have seen many top-quality films, the average Filipino, only go to the cinemas on special occasions. To them what the Filipino industry has to offer is already good. Personally, though Super Noypi has a lot of faults, it was one of the few FIlipino movies I enjoyed.

I have to agree with a lot of the criticisms here regarding Philippine cinema. The production studios there need to seriously invest in their equipment and post-production. It seems that they're only out to make a quick buck with a good ROI, and it works for them because a majority of their target audiences don't really care about the quality of their film. That is, as long as they feature the current hottest celebs in their movies, they will do well at the box office. It's really a shame.

They need to hire good actors/actress or new actors ( with good acting) not good looking actors or popular actors. If they are going to shot a film, they need to use 24p not 60i or 30p, because 24p achieves the film like motion that Hollywood movies posses. for the keying/ chroma, they need to match the actors/actress light and shadows that corresponds to the background. Color correction soft focus, and motion blur would help achieve the film look, and the story need to focus on one genre.
