  • What is the point of the gravel? And at the end I was unable to read the yellow text , is a written guide on your web site ?

  • can a single jellyfish(blue blubber jellyfish) live in a two gallon if precise conditions are there. i might get the fluval spec.

  • @zacteel Jellyfish can't live in a standard cube/cuboid tank.

  • listen honey, the video is about how to make a jellyfish tank right? why do you keep on and on and on talking about the jellyfish at all?! the video called how to set up a jellyfish tank so just show how to set it up beacuse a half of the video ur just showing things about jellyfish. think a bit.

  • @SweetLOvixd This is about setting up the tank not "making" one, first off. Secondly they are discussing tank designs and information about jellyfish. Many people don't know what jellyfish are and its good to educate the public before selling them exotic animals like jellyfish. Perhaps you should think a little bit before you post a rude comment. :)

  • Why put marbles over the gravel? Also, how often is filter maintenance done? I'm guessing that live rock is not needed for jellyfish?

  • @DragonHunter42 Hello,

Marbles prevent the jellyfish from getting torn on the gravel. Filter maintenance is done once every 6 weeks. Yes, live rock is needed, however only once.

  • Also just wondering i have an old cyilinder tank that i just though i could set up for jelly's. I would like to drill it to give me a clean look. I would have a pvc run up to the top with teeth, I'm sure that could still suck them to it would it be a good idea to make a shield around it?

  • @maplestory00 Hello,

If the current sucks them into a pipe then the design is not suitable for jellyfish. You need to make sure that your design works so that a shield is not necessary.

  • what is the average lifespan of a moon jellyfish? and can u tell if they r male or female? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER! i need to know if im getting a jellyfish!

  • I was on your website and noticed you only have moon jellyfish in stock, are you planning to get more varieties in soon? Also, can more than one species of jellyfish occupy the same tank??

  • @Doughboy072 Moon jellyfish are the hardiest species of jellyfish, which is why they are the only species of jellyfish we hold. We do not recommend using more than one species of jellyfish in a tank.

  • CAN YOU GET THE TANKS ANY BIGGER THAN THAT FROM YOUR WEBSITE SMALLER THAN 40GALLONS???? plz plz aNSWER

  • @ZACKBAGNALLVIDEO

Yes. Please contact us at 415-373-6026 or jellies@jellyfishart [dot] com for more information. We do have a 16 gallon tank available.

  • what are the stocking rule?

  • @fishcrazy104

Jellyfish Art has moon jellyfish available at all times.

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom

That did answer my question. what r the stocking rules for jellyfish?

  • @fishcrazy104

You can stock jellyfish as long as you have the correct permits (at least in America). Those permits vary depending on the state you live in.

  • wer can i buy jellyfish?

  • @chimchiminii You can buy jellyfish from our website Jellyfishart [dot] com.

  • do you have the glowing jellyfish and how much does these cost??

  • @jimichiller LOL They're not glowing it's the led lighting...

btw i have been in the reef hobby since i was 12 and this video confused me... why gravel on the bottom? Wouldn't you want live rock rubble? I understand the glass balls, so the Jellyfish don't get hurt. Just seems like this goes against most of the basic things in the marine hobby.

  • lol heather to 77 ftw xD

  • Can you make a special offer ;) ?

  • Our next promotion will be for Mother's Day. You can follow us on our Facebook page or sign up for our email list to get notified when we have promotions and new products.

  • How much do these tanks cost? I want to get one really bad but dont know how much work is involved and how much they can cost

  • The Desktop Tank and Starter Kit is $249 available on our website. Jellyfish are as easy to care for as a regular aquarium fish.

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom excuse me but wtf $249 if i was in Varna,Bulgaria i wold go out at sea every day getting some jellyfish whidout payng anithing and all tht you sell is for a year i have to buy a new jellyfish

  • is that a biorb?

  • It is a biorb modified specifically for jellyfish.

  • dude you are freaking awesome ive always loved jellyfish. Ever since i started surfing and i would see them in the water they just facinated me. I am trying to convince my mom to get me a desktop tank and 1 moon jellyfish. I hope i may get it soon. Just wanted to let you know i love your product and i will get one. You are the smartest man probably. I searched for hours until i went to youtube and found your channel and website. You are the only one that sells this stuff. Good Luck With buisines

  • @stupidstunts23 true but it costs 250$ whatever i love these jellyfish and i want a tank too when i get a job il get money and buy some

  • Are jellyfish easy to keep? I just browsed google, all they said was about the tank (covered) and food (live brine shrimp, easy enough, I already feed all of my other fish that). I'm seriously thinking about getting some, but I need to be sure this is new fish for me. Nothing to hard. Would you recommend it for beginners?

  • Jellyfish are not difficult to maintain. The hardest part is feeding them once per day. They are on par with an average salt water fish in terms of difficulty of maintenance.

  • hey i really liked the song can i find it anywhere?

  • We had that song custom made. If you contact us through the website we can send you a copy.

  • Nice video. But i don't understand your cycling techniques. where did your ammonia source come from?

  • We used to use "fishless cycling" where you add pure ammonia to the tank before adding animals to start the cycle. Now we instruct our customers to cycle their tanks with jellyfish in them because they jellyfish are hardy enough to stand up to the ammonia levels. We also include a bacterial supplement to jump start the cycle and recommend frequent water changes while the tank is cycling.

  • so is curvature of the aquarium really that important to have jellyfish? also as far as the filtering of this goes, it doesn't seem too intricate, just a bubbler will do? along with a curved area? there's a local fish store that has an aquarium exactly like this, and another one that's a complete cylinder.

  • Yes, jellyfish aquariums cannot contain any corners because the jellyfish will get stuck in them. You have to have a way of protecting the jellyfish from getting bubbles trapped underneath their bells. The tank carried by your local fish store is called a BiOrb. We modify that line of tanks to make them compatible for jellyfish.

  • is there any specific lighting preference for keeping jellyfish? what kind is used for this tank right here? also do you think the same rules would apply for comb jellies? since technically they're not even cnidarians, but ctenophores? and they move about differently, using their little cillia.

  • Jellyfish do not have biological lighting requirements. The Desktop Jellyfish Tank comes standard with a white halogen lamp. We don't sell comb jellies so wouldn't be able to comment on them.

  • can the desktop tank onl house Blue Jellies? or cn you put other species in it?

  • only blue jellies. the others all get too big. i think you might be able to put sea combs in there but i'm not sure they even sell those.

  • Very nice Alex, you're making it happen.

    cw

  • 7 days? aww man, i want my jelly fish NOW :)

  • Thanks. The song was made by a friend of mine

  • wow. Very cool, and very informative. I will defiantly have to look into this. By the way, what is the song you used during this video? Thanks!
