same here man me and my dad worshiped him he was "THE MAN",there no doubt about that me and my dad both race.my dad was very good he ran with Dale a few times at Huntsville Speedway in Alabama.when i got to be 13 he put me in a car and asked me how i wanted it painted and i said i want it to be like Dales. We all loved him,when he drove you felt like you were in the car with him.

If you look at the ppl in the stands or the rv's around the track or the cars in the parking areas, you will see evidence that nascar fans that go to races are upper class as well. It is not cheap to go to a race. they dont have a walmart shoppers seating section. There is more class at a racetrack than will ever be in your personal life. There will never be another intimadator. I was young when he died...about kindergarten age, I really never like racing as much. I remember a lot from the next few weeks...We didn't watch racing for a long time after that. It still isn't the same. I miss seeing the 3 car out there. Kinda helps to think he's happy. It doesn't matter what you think. For one, classifying all people that enjoy watching this type of racing as "rednecks" is a clear expression of your ignorance. Second of all, he was a great driver, so you can't say that because he was involved in an accident he wasn't a good driver. Thirdly, wrecks are a part of the sport really. SOME people may watch it for the wrecks, but others watch it for the racing. To top it all off, saying NASCAR sucks really shows how clueless you really are.
